Im working on installing it right now. Im only 15 but i love games tat kinda simulate war and playing as a team. I hope i'll find a mature squad that is good but also isnt as strcit as drakes to a point that you have 0 fun and just get yelled at... I need a bit of a mix but more mature than funny if anything... Can't wait to get into the game

This would be terrible for console. People have to coordinate with others, actually rely on a central Sq Leader figure. Plus this is based on *real* Modern Warfare. So there is no magical supply crates falling from the sky, no M4's with 7 rail attachments, and real people have to actually do the menial jobs of flying transport choppers and drive logistic trucks to build emplacements... There's no instant gratification, thus, no console.

DaJuno so basically saying "a PC based game is too awesome for console in such terms as player connection and realism"? the hell? you could sit guys in a LAN party on consoles (Xbox ONE or PS4) where there are the same exact internet connection (more or less), have them configure their own controls to their liking, all have headsets, and play this game and would be just as tactically coherent as those on PC... as long as players can communicate than there is just as big a similarity for console as is PC

Lmao @ ***** ***** I'm not saying it's not possible, nor am I saying that console players lack the capacity to play or enjoy a game like this. The point is that PR is built based on teamwork and patience. Two things that most console game purchasers do not have. Like I said, there is no instant gratification. Hell, this game takes a lot of patience for basic PC gamers. Imagine casual console gamers picking this up and having to play for months just to be an effective squad mate. The learning curve is slightly steeper.

***** To kinda sum it up, as I play console games as well, I like to sit down, plug in and get right to the action. I think that exemplifies the common console gamer. When I play PR, I know I am in for an 1 1/2 to 2 hr match, that may have me spending a majority of the time waiting on transport or maneuvering, broken with sporadic gunfights. Be honest, do you see this being successful on any console platform or network?

Imagine if this game had a live civilian population. The MEC could pose as civilians hiding in buildings and shops. The US would patrol and find strongholds or super FOBs constructed by the MEC forces. Maps like this would be so tense if it was developed correctly.

+Miguel Eduardo Rodríguez García war isn't fair. People will do anything to stay alive. Even if it is posing as a civilian. This will add a new tactical element to the game and it'll also add surprise and a test to the true natural combat skills of those playing. Ambushes would feel more intense. Because now you shoot anything that moves and it's a target but if you shoot a civilian your team would lose a point or the team that didn't shoot a civilian gains civilian AI to help. With some sort of Militia other than the taliban-esque group or the MEC controlled by the AI. The favor of the AI goes to the team with A) the most points B) the least amount of civilian kills

+InertiaLeak That sounds better and more realistic with civilians getting involved of their own volition and the armies looking the other way, but trust me, that kind of crime isn't taken lightly by the international community and will lead to everyone thinking of you as no better than the Taliban which will make it hard to find allies but easy to find enemies, not to mention if you get capture you'll have a date with the ICJ, but alas as you said war isn't fair and it might happen if a country is desperate enough.

Bluedrake I figured you were the best guy for this question, seeing as you're a professional, I've been recording a few benchmarks with a high end build I've completed recently, and I've also started making a few commentaries, but my Audio-Technica 2020 condenser mic; the damn thing keeps picking up my mouse and keyboard clicks and clinks. I've been using Audacity to edit the audio of this out, which works fine, however I was wondering if there was an easier method, I'd be willing to purchase new gear if needed.

Take consideration of your team, key word communication skills, your a great team leader don't get me wrong but defiantly what I would advice is more patients, and use of cover I counted at least 5 times you re routed you and your team into open plains, use more split routes if it helps you have he guys for it just V from and take the city. But again this is all just my opinion, it doesn't matter but if it's helpful then cool (:

james midd Okay. Thanks for the answer. Yeah I've heard some players really have issues with ping across a number of games due to server location. My connection isn't the best but works 70% of the time when playing bf4 or arma. I hope it gets better for you soon.

Unwarranted self importance and basement dwellers completely ruined this game. I enjoyed it for many years because it's such a great game and there won't be another one like it, but between asshat admins and the players full of USI, the game is going to die very soon. I was banned from basically all the servers for "hacking" and I don't even think there are hacks for this mod.
