Hey Drake. I started watch your PR ( And the Misery mod series too, wich i am enjoying too) videos for a bit now, and i think i'll buy BF2 only to play it. I REALLY like these kind of realistic-ish simulators. I played ACE a while back, i really liked it, but it was a bit too hard to get to play, it took me quite a while to join a group and actually play, and i'd like to ask if PR is like that? Or are there good public servers with active admins, no trolling, that kind of stuff? Thanks.

Dragon Rising and Red River certainly, however OFP Cold War Crisis which was recenetly renamed to ArmA Cold War Crisis is actually one of the best games out there despite it being 12 years old.

A lot of VBS is taken into the ARMA series mods. If Arma2 is a kids game compared to VBS, project reality is a remedial block game.

RIP Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, and Battlefield Vietnam Multiplayer servers. Gamespy is shutting down so that means every single server and all mod servers are going to die. EA could fix it easily, but they wouldn't be gaining any money from it. Everybody have fun while you still can because the change will happen on May 31st. Goodbye best Battlefield games, we will never forget you.

I can 'bang on' what ever I want. As I started by comment with "I think" it is my opinion and a valid one at that. They make the best simulator out, again my opinion. PR is nice but its like a BF1942 is to BF2 when against ARMA especially when 3 is full released.

I just started playing this game today. Still dont know how to differenciate between friends nd enemies - so I get killed dozens of times while trying to realizing if a far sillouhuete is really the enemy. Also get kicked constantly from squads where they seems not to like newbies. Anyway I like he game a lot

1. Until you become able to differentiate the uniforms/weapons, check the map a lot. An awareness of your surroundings will help you avoid friendly fire. 2. The best way to avoid getting kicked from squads is sticking to rifleman kit, and follow orders. Hold tight, we all have been there!

Of cause I know OFP, it is another BI game, as my comment starts with "I think" it was just my opinion. I played the whole BF series including PR until I found BI and have not turned back. I am merely sharing with my opinion, from experience ARMA is the best war simulator Ive ever seen and ARMA3 is one step beyond that. The fan boys of PR just hate me for sharing.

I think you guys would enjoy ARMA2 ACE a lot more then BF2. Especially the realism servers. Have a look at shocktak and 7th Cav. Seriously ARMA2 ACE is a war simulator everything else is a kids arcade game.

They are not making PR2 as a mod. Well, it is a mod, but on CryEngine 3. But it's basically a totally separated game that has no ties to EA.

Mohammed Abbas the game name is "Battlefield 2" and in this thing, it's just a mod, which name is "Project Reality" and, i guess you can't buy BF2 anymore, i guess you can download it for free, and please note, the BF2 Mod "Project Reality" size is more that 1 gb, so it will take few moments.
