This reminded me of Albacore fishing in 1980 in San Diego. Many times you would make your first stop and you would not move again the whole day. Those were the days.

2 per person? Thats crazy... the limits here on the east coast are 2(3 commercial) between 27 and 47" and one from 47 to less than 73. That is per day per vessel....

We never used to catch tuna this size. Since the big ones have shown up we have a reduced limit of 5 per person, per day to 2 per.

We release literally hundreds if not thousands of fish per season. We also work with the conservation and scientific community to support healthy stocks in our oceans. That said, some days it's nice to go out and put the wood to them.
