Lake, omg, a voice from GOD//NATURE-----btw, it is my opinion the greatest form of art is the American movie industry---a 2nd for me is 'rock' music---so good and innovative and is a big part of my life---as you know, when you meet someone from anywhere in our country, or world for that matter, we can relate through music. All forms of music--i like classical, but mostly no poetic lyrics and is very difficult for the brain to incorporate with total familiarity --un-like a 3-12 min rock song. (( a friend sends me music he thinks i prob do not know--he sent me this and my reply was " thanks---good voice and can play----too bad cause i need wine, pot, and sadness to really appreciate the blues :)""""" aside from r&R (50s), pop, R&Blues, my fav is classical rock----Genesis, YES!!!, Floyd, Zep---those not with us, fortunately due to great tech, we still have them on places like this. ( i did see Roy Buchaanon (Buchanan) down The Village---i do much prefer great lead Gs that play with a group, tho.

@allenkennedy674819 күн бұрын
By the same reasoning, full sized keyboards , amplifier stacks and huge PAs should be every bands obligation. I grew up with B3s and Fender Rhodes being a necessity, so I get your point. Then again there aren’t any Barbara Dennerlien or Joey DiFrancesco role models out there. The blues audience is older white males are they to blame? Support live music regardless of genre. Buy their recordings.

@Tblanktim-mu1bh That's some fertile ground in which to have ones roots. The Blues breakers was not only a pinnacle of blues music, it was the foundation upon which many legendary musicians cut their teeth before taking their place in the history of blues guitar. Thanks for the flash from the past. Now I'm heading off on a detour. So much of the British rock and blues of the late sixties onward for sixty years or so now, can trace origins back to Mayall and his Bluesbreakers. It's hard to think of any other single musician who has had such a formative influence in the music world. Where's my guitar,,,, gotta shake some blues off those strings.
