Perfect advice, my boy is now 17. Killed his first deer with a 410 at 7, killed a ton of deer, turkey and ducks since then. Started with a crossbow but now is a perfect bow shooter. Telling it like it is, I raised mine like you are trying with your 2. He is respectful, follows the rules and wants to go in the military next year. But he is all into hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and the outdoors. Great video.

Gabe, you gotta be so proud of those boys! The confidence you’re instilling in them is really stating to show. I know there’s nothing like the feeling when I was finally old enough to hunt on my own and use the things I was taught by my dad and older brother. To me hunting isn’t just about the harvest. It’s all the awesome stuff that goes along with it, like the time spent with family and friends, and all the cool things you can see and experience when you’re in God’s creation! I always wish so many more people could experience and understand this way of life, I think it might help make this world just a little bit more bearable for some folks! Congrats on his first deer. Youngest age here is 12 which I also never quite understood long as theyre with parents. Back 15 or so years ago when the crossbows were starting to get more mainstream I was a big nay sayer for them being a traditional archer. Now that time has passed and multiple injuries, I now see where they are very practical

My mom used to make stuffed heart ( beef) she would season the bread stuffing really well and then cut the heart open stuff it then tie it up with butcher cord and then put it in the oven. One of my favorite things growing up as a kid and I still love it
