Gabe, a Coyote or Wolf will leave a pointed track with the middle toe and cannot retract the claw (toenails).... A cat on the other hand leaves more of a rounded track with the claws retracted, although sometimes the claws will show when the track is laid down heavy on sand or firm mud in a running/ trotting gait.... I learned this when I was trapping for a living back in the 80s....

I am leaving Florida headed to my Western Colorado home for the next 6 months. I love Colorado, and all that you are doing now is in my backyard. The smile on Jake and Crystal's faces says it all. I watch a lot of outdoors/fishing KZbinrs and not one of them has ever come to my great state of Wyoming. I live about two hours from Casper, it would have been so cool to see you when you were here.
