bluegill and redear fishing catch and clean. when the bite is on there is not a better fish to catch and not a better tasting fish to eat either.

I would recommend scaling and leaving the skin on the fillets. The taste is better. Saute them in butter and whatever seasoning you like. They are delicious!

I just stumbled across your channel this afternoon looking to get my bluegill fix since i can't go out for a while... when you said indiana my ears perked right up. I live up by fort wayne and there aren't many public spots too close by. Are you guys up north like me or halfway across the state? Loved your video!

Thanks so much, We are in Terre Haute, so a few hours from ya. I am blessed with access to some private strip pits around here which is like heaven for a day gillin! Hope you get out soon and sley em! personally I thinkg Bluegill is one of the top 3 best tasting freshwater fish

Yeah I never did have any luck using grubs, I always had much better luck using worms. Love watching your catch and cook video. Keep up the great videos

yall should try a lure called panfish magnets, They are little 2 or so inch grub bodies with tiny jig heads that can catch anything

The monot cicada grubs them are junebug grubs just wanted to clarify that iv tried them b4 no real luck tho worms work better

Well I beleive those are cicada grubs. Did you eat them raw? These grubs taste more like mushrooms, but I do cook them first

lol these are bluegill not salmon lol. Btw bluegill and redear belong to the genus lepomis, one of the smaller members of the family is the Warmouth, makes your comment even funnier to me? I’m very curious where you are coming from with your question….
