Notre Dame is going to face a tough road test playing in front of a hostile crowd at South Bend against Louisville. Leonard and the struggling Notre Dame offense will have to rely on each other for support. Can the offense click under such extreme conditions? We'll see this Saturday.

All Americans galore! Definitely this was/is a playoff year for sure. I mean it's the inaugural playoff season, and we got the team and more importantly the schedule to make it in. One more comment, as far as all the seemingly inexplicable RL hate, I just figure ND fans are/were not prepared for such inept passing. Regardless of anything else. It feels like we don't have a QB almost. Any game you watch, any highlights, whoever the random QB might be he throws way better than RL. And that's what fans can't come to grips with.

If ND loses, MF should just start packing up. If ND wins, there's still a chance ND will lose a game or two later. It's frankly a no-win situation for MF since he used up his last mulligan.

Agree, anyting short of a playoff win I can't past losing to NIU. After losing to NIU I have more belief in we can get beat by anyone than I do thinking we can beat anyone. Seems destined to be a disappointing season. And Riley Leonard and the offense is not what we were told he owould be. All spring and fall when media can't watch the talk was about the deep shots the offense was taking.

Ive been an ND fan since I can remember watching tv. Can you guys answer why you think a ND team that lost to a 120th ranked team should get a playoff spot over a 2 loss team in which both their losses came against legit top 15 teams? I can’t. Frankly, I don’t think ND is a legit contender to even make a playoff. Before the season everybody said the floor to make it was 11-1 with a loss coming from a TOUGHER team on the schedule. You don’t think the selection committee looks at that loss with bigger skepticism then say a two loss SEC who lost to two bigtime ranked programs. Just a question. I laugh when I hear 10-2 can get them in still. Really?

I mean look at it this way (Before I continue I do agree with you) The commute doesn't care who's in the playoff, no Mayer want people say, If the committee sees an opportunity to put a 10-2 ND team over a 10-2 team like Indiana (given they go 10-2) or teams like Utah, they'll put ND in purely out of the fact that ND has a 10x bigger brand than those teams.
