Riley has no quality receivers to throw to with the exception of Beau Collins. Even Collins is nowhere as good as Golden Taste and Michael Floyd. Maybe Notre Dame needs to bring back Charlie Weiss to recruit great wide receivers like he did before.

Freeman is so prideful it’ll probably take till it cost him his job. Just absolutely makes no sense knowing he was hurt Saturday and couldn’t complete a pass to keep him in. It’s crazy how it’ll be an achievement when he benches him when it should be common sense.

After seeing probably the projected revenue for the rest the season I bet. Most fans think the season washed. Freeman never won 6 in a row. Now he’s supposed to win 10? It's a shame when we're going to lose unbelievable quarterback talent because of a subpar Duke devil. I just don't understand every year that we go to this portal for a quarterback why? I can understand. Sam was great in wake. We didn’t have the wide outs for him and OC. Riley was an amazing runner with decent arm. Not amazing. But now he’s hurt. What I don’t get is a head coach leaving a hurt player in. That’s what is truly head scratching. Riley can throw. He’s just hurt and freeman’s ego is getting in his way of benching him. If freeman puts Steve in, in the 3rd or 4th quarter I promise we win that game.

If Riley stinks it up and they don’t bench him at halftime they are not good coaches. Let me explain, this is Notre Dame. You are supposed to win. Not develop a very undeveloped QB to go to the NFL. That’s why they recruited QBs.

At this point freeman is just collecting paychecks. I believe he knows what the inevitable outcome will be. He’s going to get fired at some point in the off season. Notre dame will lose another game they absolutely should not lose this season and it may be this next one. Saban is available let’s take a big swing.
