They should with this schedule they have. It's not but manageable. IF Notre Dame a great to elite team they should win every game this year whether it's by 1 or 30 points. If they want to be taken seriously

Simple solution to solve the ND or other non Conf Champion can't be a #1 seed even if they are 12-0 ranked number 1 and the highest ranked team has 2-3 losses. Separate first round bye from the seed order. The logical reason to give Conf Champs a bye is that they just played an extra game against top competition. Makes sense, but no reason the bye has to be tied to a certain seed #. So, seed the teams by order they are ranked but still give the bye to the Conf Champs. Under this method a #1 or #2 ranked ND would be seeded there but just would not get a bye (since their bye is technically while Conf Champ games are played) but they would get the benefit of playing a bracket the #1 team should get...#1 vs #12 in first round, #1 vs lowest remaining seed in second round, etc, etc.

What is the returning production coming back at RB? These lists and preseason All American teams are always based on what you did the year before. That is why I said by the end of the season I would think they are a top 10 group.

@@adamdowling7230 Thank you, and I agree with you on the RB's. For a national preseason list I can see why the RB's are not listed. LB's being #9 surprised me. Also surprised DB's were not listed with Watts being an All American and Morrison on everyone's 1st round mock drafts.

1. No way Elko has A&M ready to go year 1 game 1. Our top 5 defense will suffocate them. Their defense will be so tired come 3rd quarter. ND wins comfortably. 2. If we blasted USC with 1st round draft bust waiting to happen Williams then imagine what we do to Moss 3. Florida St will be a fun game and our potential only loss. 4. Louisville is always tough. I don't see us losing and choking twice in a row. 5. I see them 11-1 or 12-0

when ND had similar depth under Kelly as we do right now, we didnt lose to teams we shouldnt the past couple years weve been lacking deoth and coaching, that is no longer the case 12-0/11-1

Last year same hype with Hartman as QB and record was 9-3. This year same hype and same record.

Unfortunately that’s how I’m feeling as well… some games this team is a top 5 team, some games this team isn’t even top 5 division 3
