Love the stares of shock on the folks faces who didn't know the song before hearing it that night.

This guy is unbelievably good! Best songwriter out there today. Glad to see Jason getting his due, I've been a fan for years since his days with DBT.

First song of his that I ever heard. It stopped me in my tracks and I was completely captivated. Led me on a journey of discovery and to a wealth of more great songs. 💕

The looks on the crowds faces seem to display contemplative thoughts on weather he killed his lover or not.. Also some degree of fear...Powerful Great story. The 400 Unit put some fear in those folk... Yea buddy ...

LIVE OAK tells a story as only Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit band, can wow us! What a voice! Jason Isbell is among the best of "Americana" music. He is in a master class by himself. Many of us fans, claim Jason Isbell, as the best among today's "Country Music." His skills are great as a singer/songwriter, beyond category. Buy the Southeastern CD and every song will have you falling in love with Jason Isbell and his music. Fans are always in for a treat, when Jason Isbell sings with his wife and plays guitar with the 400 Unit band. Rock on guys! You rock!

The crowd reaction looks like a jury. Which way will they rule? You can tell they have never heard the song. I still remember the first time I heard it.
