@@dailyredemption8293 At least now I've found a definite Bull Moose spawn that usually works. Up by Colter. Make sure you're on the word "Colter" and facing towards the R when you're on it. Continue forwards and you'll see a small ledge past the trees across the stream. Turn away from it then look back. Should be a Bull Moose standing on it. Be sure to use your lasso or a powerful long range rifle on it. It despawns if you scare it from too far away.

Little Traveller It never worked for me. I was at O'Creighs run for 3 or 4 real days. Hours and hours. reload after reload. Potent herbivore bait up the ass. Zero moose. Ever. I think I have the worst moose story of all, I finally found a moose (wasn’t my first one but I wanted that coat) at the place where the legendary moose was, I was like holy shit (cause that’s all our reactions) so I killed it and thankfully it was 3 star so I go up to it and skin it and instead of clicking triangle to skin it, I accidentally clicked circle and kicked it, went from a 3 star to a 1 star, HOW CAN KICKING THAT GIANT ASS THING THAT WAS A PERFECT KILL BECOME A POOR PELT, again.....FROM A FUCKING KICK 😭😭😭

It is really frustrating but what worked for me to get moose at Cairn Lake: -load yourself up with 3 herbivore bait - head to the location -save game -put down 3 herbivore bait on top of lake as shown -walk back to the tiny billon the path -turn around -check what animals spawned If no moose reload save and start over. Just to be clear: once you put down baits and animals spawned no more new animals will spawn even if you scare the current ones away. Current ones will roam around and come back, no point in waiting. These are what I experienced.

On my second playthroug rn. This is arguably the rarest animal in the whole freaking game, I've foud 4 of them and they were all 2 stars. Found one bull moose between colter and cairn lake, as I was going to place bait I found one moose on top of the ice on cairn lake and found 2 of them, one male and one famale, at owanjila lake (on different occasions) while hunting the hundreds os beaver pelts the trapper needs

Just to let you guys know, the first method I think works better. It also takes waaay more loads than he mentioned at least for me it was that way. I reloaded the game at least 40 times before I came across one moose. So just be patient and keep reloading until the dice rolls in your favor.

Thank you so much man! The second way worked for me. For those struggling, make sure it spawns you across the lake from the hut when you load the game, exactly like in the video. You dont even have to travel to the north side of the lake, just walk 2 metres back from the lake, turn around with the sniper rifle and best scope, and check the spawn area shown in video. With eagle eye shoot for the head (marked red on the moose), this way I got perfect pelt and the antlers. Worked for me shortly after noon in game time, maybe for 7th attempt.

Owanjila lake is another consistent moose spawn point for me. Right in the middle of the lake towards the southeast side, they'll spawn swimming. Similar spawning, if you dont see one at first walk away from the lake a ways and then turn around and look again. Beavers spawn here too, a bald eagle spawns on the bridge, and theres a legendary fish here too. Enjoy!

Thank for this. I also found that if you find a hero animal (bear, boar, bull, wolf, etc) you can ride away (in any direction) for 15 seconds, and come back. When you come back the animal will be 3 stars. I'm not sure why this works, but it's helped me a lot.

@@andreiucj At Cairn Lake. The trick is to lay down 3 pieces of bait as shown in the video, then walk away from the ice and once you turn around animals should already have spawned. I suggest saving beforehand in case the Moose doesn't spawn at your first try. It should eventually, so keep reloading and repeating if you need to. It shouldn't take very long if not immediately.

Even worse moose hunting story here:Been out for a mf-ing moose for days. One spawned at the other side of the upper montana river where Arthur was wanted. Head shot, three star. I approached carefully. The dead or alive warning came up. I lassoed the carcass and was pulling it backwards into not wanted territory. Five gengtlemen arrived with guns. I quickly released the carcass but Arthur INSISTED upon reeling the rope fully up, so I couldn't reach for my gun in time. Took a few shots but was alive. Pulled my gun. Dead eye. One guy wounded, one lost his hat, the others were behind trees. Dead eye ran out and they finished me off. The carcass was lost and I was killed.

BlueMark Entertainment all animals have times 😈.For example you can find cougars anytime but more frequently in their spawns. However, if you go to their spawn during night time Their probability of them spawning increases big time.The perfect timing I found for moose is noon.

I found a moose here without spending any bait after more then 20 reloads at different time of day and the best time in my opinion are between 12 and 18. I slept until noon, woke up, saved, move from there up on a ledge on the left side of the cabin and watching down, it was there.

Cristian Sabo yes the respawn rate should be increased. The bull moose is very hard and time consuming to find and shouldn’t be this hard but, I find it effective if you have the time to keep reloading. The makers should make this animal spawn more frequently so we don’t have to do this over and over and then just to get a 1 star

I got a perfect moose from using bait... in the Heartlands across from Register Rock. I planted bait, ran away, and when I turned around it was there.

Thank you. Eventually got a Western Moose using 3x Herbivore Bait on Cairn Lake (at about 5pm in-game). Took 20+ reloads though. Didn't bother scaring any animals away, since nothing usually spawns after the first attempt. Got one Western Bull Moose from the possible spawn East of Colter after a similar number of attempts.

I found the western bull moose by pure accident. I was at wallace station sending mail to the birthmark guy, I come out and hear what sounded like a bear or elk, Im on my horse and heading down to the river back to camp and a western bull moose was right there, a two star one. I chased it across western elizabeth trying to kill it perfectly but meanwhile I had bounty hunters chasing me, wolves, and the people I ran into who were trying to kill me. My dad and sister were freaking out because Im the only one who managed to find a bull moose and they were yelling for me to kill it already. I managed to kill all of the bounty hunters, wolves, and random people while I was chasing the moose and thought "fuck it" afterwards and started shooting at the moose. It went down and was a one star. I skinned it, studied it and took it to camp. I thought pearson wouldnt take the one star pelt moose and I thought you needed a perfect carcase to get the antlers for the main camp, but when I got to camp and to pearson he tells me he can do something with the antlers. I had the antlers finally after playing this game three times, and it was right after chapter one. This is a major accomplishment

Antlered meese spawn at cattail pond too 😳 but they've only spawned for me if I approach from the East (right of the ducky symbol) and he's usually just suckin down water at the top of the lake west/left of the river

For those still looking I went to the brandywine drop above annesburg after not finding one for an hour by colter, dropped regular herbivore bait on one side of the river went to the opposite side and waited maybe 2 minutes and a 3 star spawned 15 ft from the bait hope this helps💯🙏

At O’Creah’s Run, set up camp on the north side of the lake, sleep till morning and make your way round to the spawn, I loaded the game 4 times and the moose was there every time, killing the moose 3 times with 2 stars, the game failed to upgrade it on the 4th it was a 3 star. I hope this helps anyone playing this in 2022
