I did it today. It 100% works. If you don't see one just turn back and count 1-8 and then face the rock you should see one. If there's a wolf or 2 star moose just scare it away.

It worked on the first try, I didn’t even know about fast traveling to colter, I used to trek all the way from strawberry every time to go search lol

I can confirm that riding a horse to get to the spawn spot doesn’t matter but it took me like 4 trys

I just tried and on the 7th try it appeared to me try to do exactly as he does, quick travel to Colter and go on foot Better if you arrive by 5-6. For me the cairn lake was impossible about twenty times but nothing just horses

@@samuelegrigoli8853 for me i go to annesburg and up to the fall north east of the map at morning if there is no moose or there is 2 star i kill every other animal then sleep til morning travel to colter check both spawns on horse because the foot thing is extra then sleep till morning then go back to annesburg and it spawns frequently

The moose is definitely there, best thing you can do is set up camp sleep for a day or two and he will spawn.

IDK why but it worked for me only once, after that I've tried it at least 5-7 times in 5-7 different IRL days. At max I found a wolf in there. BTW I recently found out that you also can find bull moose in the opposite site of owanjila dam you know where you can get the chestnut Arabian.(Not a good location tho, you can give it a try if you're desperate enough)

The one at the top of the map on the east side a bit near Roanoke with all the flowers etc - i saved and loaded or camped +10 times, still no moose and when I finally got one it was a 2 star moose without the antlers.

Usually mornings are the best time. If you’re still not spawn the moose, ride a bit away and come back.
