Great videos. I was going to buy a ISUP but after your videos. I bought a BOSS hard board from you guys. I absolutely love it. I’m going to end up getting my wife the tuff TEC board. Tyler is good at what he does. Heck you all are great at what you do. Thanks from the Emery’s in Nevada.

13:20 .. that’s crazy .. I’m the sun 10 min … sometimes I paddle 4-5 hours in hot sun and deck doesn’t get wet
@blueplanetsurf6 ай бұрын
The water cools the board when paddling even if the deck is dry so that’s not an issue but we have seen lots of boards with heat damage from being left baking in the sun on a hot beach or on (or inside) a car. Dark colored boards or deck pads are especially susceptible to heat damage, don’t take that risk.

What a great video - thank you Robert and Blue planet surf!! I am a total beginner so these tips are so helpful. Also have a quick question. Is there a rule on which foot I should attach the leash to?
@blueplanetsurf3 жыл бұрын
🙏thank you😎 Which foot does not really matter in flat water. If you plan to surf, the leash goes on your back foot so it’s out of the way in surf stance.🤙🏼

How do you flip the canoe back if the fins are sticking up?
@blueplanetsurf3 жыл бұрын
Best to flip from end, with the wind. Watch this video to see this technique: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKq0pJR7YtyNjcU

Great video, thanks! I would like to know what to do with my knees. Should i bend them during a streak? I tend to bend them every time but I notice that my knees hurt. Do you have an advice for this?
@blueplanetsurf2 жыл бұрын
Some people do a little squat with every stroke but I don’t find that very efficient, I generate power more through twisting and leaning onto the paddle. You don’t want to lock your knees but you can keep your legs pretty straight without sacrificing speed. So if your knees hurt, don’t do those mini squats.

Anyone know exact location? Looks like artificial lagoon. Would love to try this spot.
Aloha, guys)) I have a very importent question, I'm living at the Black Sea shore and here is no big ocean wavas, so I want to ride ISUP, and i don't know which one to buy, basicaly which parameters it should have to surf small waves? Thank you!!

We no longer sell iSUPs but I make some recommendations at the end of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6e2Zn9pnsiXm6s
@romanomogg15713 жыл бұрын
Great video, thank you. but it would be safer to transport the board with the fin in front of you instead of behind you, protect your people from the sharp fin
@blueplanetsurf3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Yes but keep in mind that the trailing edge of the fin is sharper than the leading edge, so if you carry the board with the fin forward you need to be extra careful with it as the sharper end is pointing forward. 🤙🏼
@romanomogg15713 жыл бұрын
@@blueplanetsurf Exactly, that's why it's better to put the Finn in front of me, so I see everything, behind me I don't see anything

Maybe also alert people to the fact they should not stand up in 2 feet or less of water … like you’re doing. !!
