Drone piloting skills on point Robert! That 5.2 is looking like the replacement for my overworked BRM 5.5.
@blueplanetsurf2 күн бұрын
Thank you, practice makes perfect and the more I fly the drone the more comfortable I become getting closer and lower to the water, but it’s still unnerving playing with such an expensive toy. Stoked you like the wing and I hope you can support our project by pre ordering, Mahalos!

When kites boost the 200 ft plus jumps, you got wonder what would happen if they land on somebody especially the foilers. Would it be assault or manslaughter?
@blueplanetsurf2 күн бұрын
I recently watched a video of a kiter taking out a windsurfer on the landing, so it can happen. At the gorge you always have to keep your eyes open for sure 👀

The wipeouts at the end are great! Solid reminder that even the pros still crash. My favorite feature of the Armstrong V1 was the Y handles. My favorite feature of Ensis and Duotone and F-One is the boom. And then it's now got a construction like the Armstrong XPS. If these are more user-friendly, I'll for sure snag a quiver. I already ordered one, but will demos be possible? BIGGEST reason I have bought something, was being able to try it in person beforehand. BIGGEST reason I wait to buy or get used stuff, is because I'm unsure if I'll like it.
@blueplanetsurf13 күн бұрын
Thank you. We currently only have one size set of the final version here on Oahu and it’s spread out amongst the team riders but we can arrange a demo here on Oahu for sure. Where are you located?

@@blueplanetsurflive up by Mokulē’ia but wing Kailua every now and then. My go-to has been a 5.5. 4.5 is hit or miss. 6.5 is often too much wing most days.
@blueplanetsurf12 күн бұрын
Thats' great, let's set up a demo. Derek and Eli go to Mokuleia regularly, so maybe we can set something up with them. Please send me an email to set it up: [email protected]. I think once you see it in person and get to try it you will realize that we did not copy any other brand's wing but put a lot of thought and R&D into the design.

I feel incredibly blessed that my wife and I could visit your Sunday board demo at Ala Moana during January 2020. We still use the boards we purchased very regularly. I’m also very appreciative to have been able to attend your PSUPA training a bit ago and I’m still a member today. Would absolutely love to join another one if you ever hold it. I’m very excited to get your book in the mail and I hope to go to see y’all again soon to hopefully get it signed. You’ve a a hero to me. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done Robert. 😄🙏🌊🏄🏻♂️

The difficult is my hand is not able to reach to other side of the kayak. How to get back?
@blueplanetsurfАй бұрын
The main thing is to kick your legs behind you so your body is close to the surface, then slide your chest onto the kayak. If you can’t get on from the side, try getting on from the back.

I'd epoxy this to make it look brand new rather than big ol' piece of putty on the board.

Great video! Any recommendations for getting the fresh water completely OUT of the bladder -- ideally, without having to remove the bladder from the wing?
@blueplanetsurfАй бұрын
Good question. It's almost impossible to completely dry out the bladder once it's wet inside, so it's best to avoid water in the bladder in the first place. If salt water gets inside, fully rinse it out with fresh water and drain it by hanging it up with the valve at lowest point and then air dry it as much as possible to prevent salt crystals from forming inside.
@michaelc5378Ай бұрын
Same thing with salt water crystallizing on the wing itself. It creates abrasion and wears out the Dacron/canopy
@blueplanetsurfАй бұрын
Yes, good point but at least the salt on the wing gets washed off the next time it’s used.
