It's one if those days, Shaun... every time I get started.. someone interrupts. I just wanted to say How Much I Appreciate this vid.. I have a ton of '72 Lincolns and like you say... Circulation Wear does make it difficult. Several of them are Cherry Red, and look a lot like the FS 101, but I haven't checked yet for Die Markers. Anyway.. I found a roll of 1971S BU the third penny was a 1972 no mint. I sleaved it and put it aside. Guess i will pull it back out? Thank you for all your knowledge in my quest for getting a jackpot. I paid good bit for that roll of pennys on whatnot

I just found a 1972-S DDO I think. The date definitely has some doubling. It has a southern doubling in the date and mint mark.

I just found one FS-104 in a very red circulated condition. I'm not good at grades on coins so I can't say what it is there is very little wear to be seen. I'll be listing it in a few days so you may have a chance to feature it soon. I'll be sure to post all the photos I've taken so it shows it matches the one shown in variety vista's site.

I found 1 a month ago. And one a week ago. Fs 103 i believe adn fs 102. Red. Maybe ms 60 or above. Keep looking. I go through 10 to 15 boxes a month.

Thank you so much for all these great tips. I am a member of PCGS and I sent some coins out to be graded but it has already been over two months and they are still in the grading process. If I find anything good I am going to skip the grading process this time and just try EBay. I need money now, not three months down the road. I was under the impression that members of PCGS receive a quicker grading status. I have been studying coins this last year and it's pretty extraordinary. I have a collection that was passed down from my father and let me tell you I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm having fun looking them over I have many 1972, 1973 and many other years. My thing is that he had them bottled up in baby jars some look real good still and some have a little of the green stuff on them. If I send them to ngc do you think they will be able to get that off the coin? I would love to hear your opinion.

When it comes to grading coins, unless the coin is a well known error or variety, investing in slabs will be very disappointing to you, I promise. It's not cheap. If you're ok with spending the $$ and u just want the coin(s slabbed because that's what makes you happy, then I highly recommend you do slab them. Always do what YOU want with your coins. You deserve to know the cons and I just wanted to express to you what many people suffer from... Big plans with minimal knowledge of how the grading services have a way of popping the balloon of "realized" treasure. Peace🙏🕉️

Acetone will take that patina off your coin without damaging it. Dip a swab in acetone, GENTLY rub area in one direction, while spinning the head of the swab. Repeat until desired effect👍👀

The DATES have double die and “double die” on the top in “IN GOD WE TRUST” more prominent on the last 3 letters: “UST” ALL are in clean mostly “fine” condition. Some I would consider in “extra fine” condition. $299

I pulled 2 good penny's out of 20 rolls last week and a 1972 ddo with most of the doubling is only on In God We Trust, I will have to go back an check for the cud beside Liberty cuz the 104 variety isn't easily accessible on pcgs for some reason. Why does it not list 104 variety when u look up 1972 ddo? Only lists 101... Thanks for any help, I know ya get alot msgs on here an this is 11 mnths old now. 👍I did find it on wexlers guide btw thru 108 varietys.

You are very wrong in saying the FS-104 is the least impressive doubled die. Besides FS-109 just because it's only the tail of the 2 in the date. FS-105 & FS-106 area lot less impressive. The spread on those 2 are very minor. FS-104 is much h nicer than either of those two. I have the complete set of the FS varieties for 1972 including FS-104 in mint state.

I envision a good channel that either has few actual replies or when they do reply to answer with an honest reply other than copy and paste. This channel is not the only one who does it. I check for replies and see which one really connects with the readers. My opinion for what it's worth.
