I did my first dose of heroin for the first time at age 13 and I just quit at age 27 been 3 years and 9 months clean and I don't want to ever go back! :( So much heartache for my mom (rip) and dad who knows is my best friend in the world. If your life isnt in total shambles currently, and shit hasnt totally taken over, then just taper down, stay discipline, and ride it out, and avoid the subs. Trust. Docs gonna give u higher dose than u need if u go that route jsyk

That’s so great to hear you’re in long term recovery! Me, too…6 years. I went to a treatment center at 15, but people acted like I didn’t need the help like they did, and I felt like I shouldn’t be there because someone might need it more. Man, I got off it more than 20 years later. I wish I had stayed, cause they were even gonna take me at the orphanage, after that. I wouldn’t have had to be on the streets! I hope all kids listen to themselves, and know that if you think you’re an addict, you are, and don’t let no one run them off, if they need help. This kid deserves help. I would recommend getting help from his family, or a kid’s treatment, honestly, even if he is 18. It’s a better environment for kids than with adults.

I hope that after the interview that they didn't walk away from this kid. Please God. This needs help, why is this kid on the streets. Why is nobody helping him. What has his family done to him. This kid should have straight away been taken to somewhere to live. Taken to the doctor and put on antidepressments. And got help with his drug addiction.

It's awesome... If I'm being completely honest... Those are the hardest things ever to quit... But with the help of subs an trying to stay confident you got this.... Yes you have to suck it up an try not to be weak being sick but after 3-4 days it seems it's getting easier . An going threw such a awful withdrawal makes you never wanna go back .. I hope he stays going strong...

You’re still young Manny./you absolutely 100% are good enough to get clean/I’m a 20 year recovering at it/you can do it and once you get stable in your recovery/you will look back and you will not understand how you put yourself through that/we’re praying for you brother/get some help man make a change
