A young aspiring musican could go pro after this lesson! Could of used this excellent lesson way back in 1967 Andy! No guitar wizards giving away secrets in the last century... Thanx for sharing!

Reminds me of when I was learning to play from friends. Just jamming in the living room even late hours on a school night. haha. There's something for everyone here. At first I was expecting more, then I thought he was showing stuff just for the beginners. But as he progressed he really delivered something for all of us guitarists.

Great lesson from a great player! love that voicing you're play around 8:45. It's so important to know multiple voicings so you're not playing the same thing for every blues/jazz song

Robben Ford, and Kirk Fletcher have both done great lessons on this with the same chord voicings. However, Andy Timmons lesson is probably the best. Whether it's the videography or Andy himself. I don't think any one lesson had advanced me as much as this single video on the topic. Im gonna buy the dvd based on this one lesson.

I don’t have a lot longer to live on this planet, x- 37 yr heroin addict , hiv, hep C have done there damage.Im 63 yrs young and play at a 62yrs reissued STRAT! That was made with the correct parts, cloth wiring, Kline 62yrs pickups MTI rellected, ect, ect, ect. But I would love that more than any other! Since Hendrix is dead.😎🎸your right hand is great, not that your left is slacking.🎸😎 I’ve played at this strat for around 35years. And I steal from you everyday😎! Thanks for reading this. Bye

Absolutely love this lesson. I get so tired of playing 7 and 9 chords, this will help make the rhythm more interesting. Question - for the G13 chord at 8:32, what note is the middle finger playing? When I finger the F, B and E and just play that triad, I dunno, it doesn't sound very good. But when I drop the F to the E, the E minor chord sounds much better.

Bminor7flat5 or simply removing the low G note and adding (A) as 9th.. simply cool and you can also use diminished scales bec. Bm7b5 is a diminish chord.
