Met this beautiful man when he played in Boulder early 2000's. Johnny "B" Gayden of Albert Collin's band was on the low stuff that night. Larry chatted with me about "what I did for food around here" and trying fly fishing for the first time in Colorado someday. What an amazing humble talent if ya get the chance peeps!

though a bit too rockin' blues for me, Larry McCray is one of the best younger generation bluesmen. Authentic, no mannerisms, doesn't stick to safe over-repeated forms and norms. Great!
