Mathieu Hagg The band's name was "Kenji Omura band". This is not a permanent. This live is for the debut 25th anniversary event of Kenji Omura who play stratocaster. Another guitarist is Kazumi Watanabe. However, we can not see this band anymore. Because, he, Kenji Ohmura has already died. Tomohito Aoki (bassist) was also died. However, u can see their excellently play in other videos. Especially, the blues played by Kenji Omura is superb. I have since discovered a thing or two about these guys! The first guy is Kenji Omura who plays a lot of fusion on his studio records, as do a lot of Japanese guys, there's a whole bunch of class rock covers on youtube though. The second guy is Kazumi Watanabe, this guy is absolutely a hidden legend within Japanese music, he blows a lot of famous guitar players out of the water in terms of jazz, blues and fusion. In terms of fusion, please check out his solo on YMO's Tong Poo live at Greek Theatre 1979, being on fire is an understatement!
