I'm from KC and first saw Sam play with the Camp-Harlow band at The Levee. She was 15, barefoot and tearing it up on that stage. When Greg Camp passed she was given one of his guitars (it's in the rack to her right). She has only gotten better since that night. KC is so proud of her.

I discovered Samantha on KZbin about a month ago while looking for a great cover of "I Put A Spell On You" and let me tell ya....this is not only the BEST cover of this song I have ever heard, but I have listened to this clip about 50 times in the last month. Her voice and presence is the purest form of the blues that any musician can ever hope for. I have played guitar most of my life and I have been a professional musician for quite some time, but once in a blue moon does a person with this much natural soul come along. Anyone can play the blues.....but it takes a truly soulful person to feel the blues and while performing it, help others feel it as well. Samantha Fish is fantastic! If you think otherwise, go back to listening to Justin Beiber. The rest of us will enjoy this incredible musician making incredible music.

Joshua Brutzkus I randomly found her after watch a bunch of other female guitarist,she was the first to make me stop and listen because she was playing with feel and singing with heart instead of trying to impress with fast licks like the dozens I watched before her. I got to see and meet her last week and she's a sweetheart in person and one hell of a live performer. She's the real deal when it comes to talent and I'm glad I got to see her in a small venue before she gets really big.

I just saw Samantha July 4th at the Portland Riverfront Blues Festival, and omfg, what a show! 18,000 people showed up for her set, and when she played this song, it was like a bomb went off! If you ever get the chance to see her, ya gotta go! She was frikkin amazing!

We saw Samantha for the first time in this video when it had about 1700 views. She put a spell on us that lasts to this day. She's in several of our videos, she has her own "best of" playlist and she's the feature in our latest video. Guess you could say we love her. And you'd be right. What a talent and what a live show she puts on. We've seen (or try to see) every video of her on KZbin and this is still our favorite. It's on our "MOE Faves" playlist. To make that list the video has to have been viewed at least a couple dozen times. This one easily qualifies.

Just watched this for the umpteenth time since the song and the thumbnail prompted me to watch it 8-9 years ago. Since then have watched her grow into a bona fide superstar. What does John Fogerty have to do with this song, except for trying to perform this song? " I Put a Spell on You" is a 1956 song written and composed by Jalacy "Screamin' Jay" Hawkins, sometime back in the mid 1950's. Fogrty's version was a bit cheesy sounding and did not do this song justice, like Samantha has done here.
