My bluetti is a ac 70 and a ac300 with 2 b300 external batteries. They both are beasts.

I heard you couldn't use this with a transfer switch unless its a switching neutral transfer switch as a whole home backup. Reason being, the unit is a floating neutral so it could cause an issue? Did you do anything different?
@Outdoor_PrepperАй бұрын
Thanks for Watching! I didn't do anything different. Most transfer switches use the ground that's already connected to the service panel from my understanding.

Could you show what transfer switch you use. and do you run the unit everday.

This is the reliance transfer switch I use but please note I have no 240 circuits and the generator cannot provide 240 power. I start the unit once a month for testing. @@maryblack8766 so far I happy with it just remember you can’t power any 240 circuits
@maryblack87668 күн бұрын
What i want to ask do you have any issue with the 200L connecting to transfer switch full time .
@Outdoor_Prepper8 күн бұрын
@@maryblack8766so far I’ve only hooked it up to test out that it will power the fridge and some lights and I’ve had no issues at all. I only plan to use it hooked up to transfer switch at night to keep the fridge and a few lights going until I can fire up the generator during the day

Did you consider the new AC240 which is IP65 rated, so you could leave it outside? It is still on sale now.
@Outdoor_Prepper5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! The AC240 Came out right after I purchased the ac200l. Unfortunately it’s not something I can afford at the moment but would definitely look into getting it in the future when finances allow

@@Outdoor_Prepper I am on the fence on the AC200L and the AC240 and have to decide today as both are on sale and one sale ends today. Both can be had today for $1399 and $100 off with HOBO code. Will prob go with AC240 as I just plan to have it in my covered truck bed.
@Outdoor_Prepper5 ай бұрын
The benefit to the ac200l is that the battery is a higher rating - it’s 2040amp hours which is significantly higher then the ac240. From purely a runtime perspective the ac200l will give you a longer runtime.

@@Outdoor_Prepper true for $100 more you get -500 watt hours more but the IP65 rating is good for keeping the AC240 in my truck bed. Just ordered it and both are expandable if you need more battery capacity. Both are great units for the current sale price.
