Thanks for doing this testing. I bought one of these June ‘23 for use on my boat. Added 800W of solar. It is great to be able to have the AC power available when on anchor. I also used it for a 3 day ice fishing trip over the winter. To make it more portable I got the trolly with my purchase. The main reason I went with the AC300 was that it does have the true 30A 120V input for charge. My dock at the marina has 30A pedestal so I can maintain it at full charge until I go out using the solar and AC. 25:19

@@GreyManPrepping I usually put my heavy items on a 18 in. x 12 in. 1000 lb. Capacity Hardwood Dolly ($12.99) easy to roll it around you can also add a Swivel Handle for Wooden Dolly $10.00 if needed, I put my 55 gal water barrel on top of Dolly. It moves very easy and It's a more reasonable price. These Dolly come in different sizes.

It has it's place as emergency backup power. Now depending on your needs it can get costly. My buddy has a 24Kw system in GA, put him back 17k but he's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Nice land as well 👍

QUESTION ❓ WHAT GENERATOR WOULD YOU. RECOMMEND FOR RUNNING A CLOTHES WASHER post hurricane, etc with short term outages?

So this depends on a few things, So depending on the model, washing machines use 400 ‒ 1,400 watts per hour. The average cycle is 30 ‒ 45 minutes, which comes to around 200 - 1,050 watts per load. The next question would be is how many loads would you be doing? If the average machine is running around 725W, I'd say minimum I would get a 1500W power station or to be absolutely sure 2000W would be optimal. Hopefully that helps a bit. 😁👍

I've been looking at the Bluetti's and I have just one question. Does the AC300 have its own battery or does it have to have the external B300 battery? Thanks Grey!

Hey Forest, So the AC300 is just an inverter the B300's power the inverter. The idea behind this is when making an inverter this large having the batteries separate is a way to separate the weight as well and from my perspective if a battery fails your inverter is still good, you're just replacing a battery. With all-in-one units, if the battery fails the entire unit is dead.
