Thank you for your honest real-life-use review. I had given up on the Bluetti brand when I purchased the EB70S, however my confidence has increase with the EB3A and the AC60/70 series. I use a 24v battery to increase the capacity.

Thanks for sharing! I definitely think the AC70 and AC180 are their best power packs yet, and far superior to the old EB70

OK so it came today Testing it out it powered the 900w air fryer for 18min at high powere and used 22% power. Then tried on my laptop running both you tube vids and Autocad software, it is only drawing 135w max and so has a many hours of run time. What a brilliant bit of kit, heavier than I expected and glad I opted for this rather than the heavier 180 model.

Yeah I really like it too. Does nearly everything you need for most stuff at a realistic price

Thanks for review. It all helps when making an informed choice. I have a question. Do you know if the two AC outlets are in parallel? Such that, during a power lift, if I had other devices on the alternative outlet, would thay also suffer a lowering of actual power?

I've got one of those foldable solar panels with USB output only, will it accept that?

Just found your channel while researching Bluetti powerbanks. Thanks for the review it is very informative. The AC70 looks perfect for our soon to be campervan for off grid days and also to power laptop. Am clueless how I workout how long it can power my Lenovo gaming laptop which uses a 300w power supply and was wondering if you could explain in plain English to me how to work it out 😊

23:12. You have to look at the Watt Hours on each device. The AC70 I believe has 768 Watt Hours and the AC180 has 1152 Watt Hours (w/h). A w/h is how long the powerbank can power something with 1 watt for. So, a 1 watt device could be powered by the AC70 for 768 hours. How long can it do 300 watts? 768/300=2.56. So....the AC70 could power you're computer for about 2.5 hours. Then you are completely out of power on the powerbank. A bit underwhelming imo. I have the AC180. It's spendier, and it comes out at 1152 w/h. So, 1152/300=3.84. So that could power you're system for almost 4 hours. Honestly, both of these are pretty underwhelming if you're going to be using it for something like that, continuously. But one of them might be worth it, to get a few more hours in on the road. And if you have somewhere to eventually recharge every day or two or if you get the solar panels and you have sun...then either one might be very worth it. As you have a way to extend and virtually never run out of power on the road as long as you're strategic with you're use.

No problem.

@Biggiful - you're almost right but unfortunately the capacity that the power stations say on the tin is not what you actually get. This is because the power station takes energy itself to run. That's why in all my tests I measure the real world efficiency. Often that's about 75-85%. So for your 768Wh, you might only get 85%*768 = 650Wh - you then divide that number by the power of the laptop. So 650/300 = just over two hours. Agree with everything else!

@CampingSecretsUK. No I completely agree. I just didn't want to go into all that...partially because I didn't know what the real limits were. Which is why I like you're channel. You can figure it out for us haha.

Did you ever test a Aferiy 1248Wh? It is really cheap compared to other brands. It’s only 550€.

Not yet mate. That's a good price for sure!!

I wish the manufacturers would give us the true capacity. If I want to calculate how long my EB70 will last I first have to take 80% of 716Wh. Just give us the true capacity please.

Yup, that's why I've been trying to point this out for the past two years!
