Good catch with the ice ejection sensor. I would agree though that it would have been nice to have done an insulation test. Specifically how bad the loss of cooling in the refrigeration compartment while the ice maker is in operation would affect a mostly full cooler. That empty cooler temp drift was concerning but I would wonder how much longer the insulation would keep a nice large cooled mass under the danger temp.

I do love the multicooler. One issue that I noticed is that when plugged into my suburban's cigarette lighter port with the provided cable, the unit displays the E1 error (low voltage) and does not allow the compressor to cycle on. When plugged into my 100ah Lifepo4 battery via a 20a fused cigarette outlet, I experience the same error. It's been pretty frustrating relying on solar and AC charging on my trips and having to waste the B70 battery time on the commutes. On my previous two 12v fridges, I had the same issues and the workaround was to change the low voltage protection mode settings. Unfortunately, Bluetti's multicooler does not have the equivalent settings and their support advised that they have no plans to implement them in any future firmware updates. I ordered a Pecron 12v to 24v DC to DC converter to see if wiring that into my 100ah battery box will allow the unit to run with a 24v input. I'm hoping it solves my problem. On a separate note, I have the same issue with the Bluetti AC180T generator. It will not charge via the 100ah Lifepo4 battery or the vehicle's outlet.

Watched your video on the Montek X1200 and this. Subbed, great job. As a fellow nerd you cover everything I have a question about. I know these videos must take some considerable time and effort so thanks for doing it. Little concerning it won't pull any current at 18v.

Very good review. Only question I have left now is; how accurate the display temperature reading is to the actual temperature inside the box? I do not remember you saying it in the video, but I may have missed it. I watched a review on one of these the other day and I believe his was around 10 to 12 degrees warmer inside than the display showed. Not uncommon for 12-volt fridges. Especially with nothing in them.

I love your channel awesome. So anyway i have the bluetti ac180 1152wh. I watched your review on the solar dc input test and how you would get 10 amps at 32 or 34 volts. I was thinking victron 12/24 30 at 10 amps but would be at lower volt threshold 8 amps. So i found a charge brick 10 amps 40 volt. My question is if i power it with my ac inverter , wired in 8awg from starter battery works great on 40 amp fuse. Using it for a while. Can i use that charger plugged into 8 mill . Jack and dc charge the unit using that charger.

Why? It’s not dual zone, looks bigger and heavier with similar other specs. I think it’s is a cool gadget though. What is the price with battery?

@@joemiller6001 Well, not only is the battery twice the capacity, it is LiFePOS and not NMC, so it will last 3 to 4 times longer. Also, the ice maker is faster and will run continuously. It will also make ice using the 12-24 VDC input and doesn't require the battery be installed to make ice. The glacier is more like a flurry, but it was first to market, and like all EcoFlow products, is a good quality product.

@@johntate5284 doesn’t the ice maker on the Ecoflow take only 12 min per batch? I see pros and cons to both, and will have some real reviews once this is actually on the market. I have a couple Bluetti power stations now, would be nice to have all same ecosystem.

I really miss a head to head video of all the hot the popular coolers out there. I am looking at: Dometic cfx3 35/55 IM Anker Everfrost 30/40 Ecoflow Glacier Bluetti Multi-cooler Dometic and Anker Everfrost do have larger coolers with real dual zones, but then I rather buy two separate coolers and use one for a fridge and the other as freezer and then the IM function is not that important. For now, I will buy just one use it a freezer, and then I will have 2-3 Dometic passive/no electronic boxes as fridges, that is with cooling elements from the freezer. I might get tired of taking freezing cooling elements back and forth and get two coolers, but for now I will have 3/4 "zones".

Wait a second... What do you mean it's hard to measure the internal size...? Did you perhaps think to simply put a bag in it and fill it with the amount of liquid it's rated for? Seems like it'd be a bit easier to pour 10 gallons of water in it to see if the dimensions are true or not.
