I just bought a b80. I can't get the unit to go in to power bank mode. Yes, I held the power button down for 5, 10 or so seconds and it won't blink. Bluetti customer service was supposed to call me today but they didn't 😢

Help! I have the AC200L and the B230 expansion battery. A couple days ago I bought the B300K expansion battery and it works great. To be clear, I can NOT add the B230 expansion battery to the B300K, is that correct? Don't want to screw my system if I try and add them all together. Thanks!!!

Important Note: Plug the D050S into your AC200 or Battery Last after the green light comes on. You can blow the internal surface mounted fuse. Other reviewers have mention this happening to them.

At 42:00 I make full use of the extra solar inputs, because 3000W into the AC500 just isn't enough. We only have some 7 hours on average to recharge 6 B300s batteries. I think a lot of people don't realize you can add more panels to these extra inputs. I'm powering 2 window A/Cs instead of my rooftop 240V HVAC, to reduce my electric bill to $80/mo instead of the usual $250-$300 per month (It's Las Vegas). In winter I have 2 electric heaters that use as much power as the A/Cs. But as I since discovered the heat output from the AC500 is a lot, so I don't always have to plug in the heaters. I've found plenty of smaller panels on my local Craigslist or on sale on Amazon. They are propped up against my south-facing back block wall and they really come in handy on cloudy/rainy days when my 2 main 1500W arrays are coming up short. You DO need a lot of wire to hook them all up though. I ran 6 pairs of wires through a pvc pipe from the house to the wall, then buried it so it's somewhat tidy.

Thank you so much for mentioning the T400 and the T500 quasi solar method of charging.I just purchased the AC180 but was stumped on how I was going to charge this unit since my solar system is not compatible with the max10Amp Solar input. I don't want to charge from AC it kind of defeats my purpose for buying the AC180. BTW no KZbin reviewer has mentioned this out of the few I've seen.

I have the AC200 MAX and I am VERY happy that BLUETTI has chosen to continue supporting it wit add-on batteries having the proper firmware/software. I'll likely get the B300K. I use an Off Grid TREK 220 watt solar "blanket" to charge my AC200 MAX for car camping. For household emergency use I think with AC200 MAX an B300K combination would be enough to power 2 refrigerators and a small flat screen TV. THE THING MANY PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND IN USING THESE BATTERIES: You must UNPLUG all other little "power vampires" around the house to maximize batteries for essentials. i.e constant-on night lights, many power strips, etc.

I have 2 Bluetti AC200P battery packs. One is fed with 600w of solar panels and the other is fed with 400w of solar panels. I have my full size whirlpool side by side refrigerator/freezer/ice maker, box freezer, Wi-Fi router, entertainment center with 55" flat screen TV and a receiver with 7.1 surround sound, my CPAP breathing machine, and a heavy duty fan that draws around 160w during use, all connected full time while the batteries are being charged and they won't reach 0% unless it's really overcast outside. I have been using this system full time for nearly 4 years with no issues. My only question is how do I set up a quick change control box that switches from battery to grid power usage. It requires being able to read the battery charge level, where in other situations the battery bank has a positive and negative where you run a wire from each to the switch control box. I can't figure out how to wire from the Bluetti system to the switch box with a positive and negative wire slowing the switch box to know the charge level ( I can set it to switch automatically to grid power when my Bluetti power bank reaches 5% so it never fully drains the battery to 0% and I never lose power. Hopefully someone understands what I'm saying and they can tell me how to wire from the Bluetti system showing charge level.

My problem with my AC200L is hooking up my Honda Inverter 2800i generator to charge the battey. When i hook up my transfet switch cable to the TT-30 outlet, it locks up the whole thing. I can only seem to do pass through charging using the 120 volt plugs. Is it supposed to be that way, tried different settings in the app. So I cannot seem to charge the AC200L while using the TT-30 jack to power the transfer switch.

Other than 100(ish) watts of input power, what would be the downfall of merely running a 12.8v lifepo4 battery into the solar input of the power station? I get that the power transfer would be slower, the battery would be a bunch less $$$ however is my thinking ?

When using 2 B300 batteries with the AC300 Bluettie does not recommend adding one B300 at time, but rather if using 2. Do you know is it the same with this new tech mix and match of the B300K. Can you add just one when already using 2 B300's best to use 2 B300K's same as with B300? And did they tell you if it is still possible to connect the two heads to get split phase 240V when using 2 AC300 inverters, one with 2 B300ks and 1 with the older 2 B300

I have the bluetti AC 200 Max with two b 230 batteries for a couple of years now. Works pretty well with a couple of problems. Problem number one the Bluetooth only works part of the time. I have to reboot the entire system to get it to work again and then it fails after a few hours. Second problem is that I can no longer turn on AC output through the touch screen. Clicking AC on does nothing on the touch screen. I can only turn it on through Bluetooth which comes like I said, only works part of the time. If Bluetooth fails the system will be dead in the water. I contacted customer service and their recommendation was to ship it back to them and they would " take a look ". As long ago disposed of my boxes and have no packaging in which to ship the unit back so I'm living with The issues for now.

If the BMS were to have an error, how would the user know this ? Does the B300k have any way of directly interfacing with the app to be able to view any errors that may occur ? Or would the B300k have to be plugged into a head unit of one of the Bluetti Powerstations and the BMS error information would have to be accessed through the head unit (either via on screen display or app) ?

I enjoyed the video it was very informative. I have an AC180 and I before I bought it I looked everywhere to see if I could change the amp input or the watt input as to not overload my grid and all I could find was turn it to silent mode. Well that didn’t work cause the moment I plugged it in to AC it started working as a UPS and silent mode only worked when nothing was being drawn from the unit. I’m in contact with Bluetti to see if they can update their firmware or their app to include the feature the AC200L has with regard to lowering the amp input. The only solution I have is to get one of the AC adapters Bluetti sells like the T200S, T400, or the T500 yet it’ll always run on battery to my understanding and not in UPS but until I can test it I won’t know for sure. I still have time to return the AC180 and acquire a AC200L yet the price difference is kinda huge. I got the AC180 on prime day for $499 and the AC200L is $1399 as of late August 2024. AC adapter cost about $129 for the T200S and $149 for the T500. The T400 is no where to be found in the U.S. I do like that the AC200L is roughly about the same footprint as the AC180 yet almost twice the batter capacity.

Very Informative video thank you. I agree that Bluetti needed to find a way to reduce the price of the expansion batteries so in that way this could be good news. It is a shame because Bluetti had the best expansion batteries with the most independence from head units and now this is just a dumb expansion battery like Ecoflow batteries. The better expansion batteries were a main reason I chose Bluetti. As the cables already exist for this interface there would be no cable development costs for power bank mode which makes me think they have decided to save money on the circuitry or that these are going to be very competitively priced, and they only want to sell them to people who own head units and not for people who want to use them as power banks. I think they missed an opportunity to not have better compatibility out of the box with different power stations and any battery being released now should support their existing and planned balcony system which this doesn’t seem to. This battery should be cable less and you choose the cable at time of order because it is ridiculous to buy this for an AC500 and then have a redundant cable and need to spend an additional £100 on a compatible cable.

Great review. I might have missed it, but I do not think you mentioned if it has a built in heater for the battery or not. I want to say the b300s has one. If I was going to get a ac300 or ac500 I would probably go with these batteries based on the fact they are supposed to be cheaper.

No way to charge it when the main unit goes down. So you are stuck with a paper weight. This is a huge issue at this price point.

@aaron_333 24 күн бұрын
If it is connected to the main unit, you can still charge it through the main unit. If your main unit is dead/faulty, then that is a larger issue than not being able to charge the B300K independently.

I have a 200AC max and two AC300 head units so all three would have to fail for me in order to not be able to charge the battery. You do make a legit point however. Maybe if you only have one head unit you buy the older batteries that can be charged individually.

It looks like an "L-bracket" of some sort would let you mount it in lots of interesting ways. Does the manual specify how much load the bolt holes can handle? I wonder if you could use those bolt holes to mount the battery unit to a wall and then stack an AC200Max or an AC200L on top of it? I would imagine an AC300 or AC500 (given that they don't have their own internal battery) would be fine. @7:15
@andrewr05

Scratch that, it looks like you wouldn't even be able to stack them on top anyways because the cables don't reach, I hadn't gotten to that point of the video yet. I do wonder if you could get a right angle adapter to plug off of both units and if that would give you enough length to do it.
