Hi there friend. Any known reason why the PS54 is cheaper than the EB55? 😮
@rossishima4 күн бұрын
It is a way for Bluetti to move prior generation generators. They have parts left over from the EB55 so they reuse the parts into a separate model at a steeper discount. Eventualy the PS54 will disappear when parts get used up. The EB55 is already replaced by a newer model. Otherwise, except for cosmetics, same unit.

Do you know if the Bluetti PS54 has an ups mode?
@rossishima2 күн бұрын
I do not think so. The EB55 did not have.

Had mine for 1/2 year. Works great for charging cell phones and such. Power went out and it ran my big Sony TV for quite awhile. Can’t beat the price.

I am incredibly disappointed that the AC50B is not an updated version of this. It is not. This is still a superior device in terms of use case versatility and a rare ability to charge from 2 dc sources up to 400w via DC. So rare, have they lost touch with the utility of their own products to have discarded such a feature?

Hi dude, I'm a musician wanting to play outdoors, if I wanted to power an 1100 watt PA system outdoors at say, half volume, do you think I'd still be able to use this Bluetti PS54 to power the PA system to play music through as long as I didn't go above the 700 watts of power output on the Bluetti, even though the PA system I'm powering has a max output of 1100 watts? Thanks fo the review

With a little over 500Wh, that will leave you 1hr max of run time before the battery is exhausted. Remember there are efficiency losses involved to realistically less than 1 hr. I would error on side of caution and get a larger Wh unit, unless your actual playing time is not 1 hr constant.

Hola alguien me podría decir las diferencias entre la ps54 vs eb55 ?? Gracias 👍

Basically the same unit, just different case. Same electronics and battery. Go with the best price though the PS54 is a newer version so may have fresher batteries.

@@rossishima perdona que le haga otra pregunta, esta batería es de 700w según indicacion pero eb3a 600w / pico 1200w Eb55 700w / pico 1400w, ps54 700w / pico 1400w ? es correcto ? Muchas gracias

When i plug mine in to charge I'm getting only 75 watts from the brick.

Is your solar generator fully charged. The charger output decreases as the battery charge level approaches 100%. For longevity of the battery, the charger drops voltage so as not to go full blast charge into a fully charged battery; not good for the battery. If your battery pack is low and the charger is only 75v, than you have a charger issue. Should be getting 214v.

Awesome video, thanks, I am reconsidering this over the ac50b that just came out because of the dual dc charging and the price! Also, weird compliment, but your voice reminds me of Christopher Walken at times! 😊

PS72 with case at Bluetti off of Walmart for 217 is a steal. Only issue is cannot dual charge.

@@rossishima that’s still amazing! Although I am still confused to this day, is the eb70 and its other variants a 1000 or 700 w inverter? I keep seeing conflicting information and it seems like some of the eb70 models actually had a 1000w inverter not just one that surged/power lifted. My whole thing with the eb55/ps54 is that dual charge, specifically being dc, it makes me consider it over the river 2 pro despite the lack of app and smaller inverter…

@@SolarPunk80 EB70 was originally listed at 800w but in reality turned out to be slightly lower. The 1000w applies to countries that have 220-240v. US is 100-120v.

@@rossishima awesome! Even though It’s still confusing 😂😂 But I have moved to Italy and the fact that there actually was a difference in the marketing that reflected an actual difference makes a bit more sense, thanks Ross! I hope you score that deal and that it works out! I’m assuming that even though these PS versions aren’t refurbished that Bluetti doesn’t offer their 5 year warranty for them, but if I found out they did I would be very tempted to pull the trigger on the ps54, I love the idea of being able to use power banks with adapters in situations when solar would be inconvenient or impossible that’s why I was so bummed to see that the Ac50b ditched that possibility 😅

You still get full warranty. It is sold by bluetti as a link on the Walmart site.
