I'm 44 and a Sonic fan from day 1, in 1991. I haven't tried this game yet. I'm worried it's too modern and hard to learn. I enjoy taking it easy and just exploring but don't feel like engaging in hour long boss battles. Is the game intense with a heavy learning curve?

(A bit late to comment buuut) Nah the game is pretty easy to get through and you're never in a time limit or anything. Traversal is mainly the meat of the game, and it can be nuts, but you can just go about stuff normally if you want to. The boss fights are also not really long either, you'll get through them easy when prepared pretty much but even then they're not hard so the game should be cool for you.

I know it’s a mod but the fact the Frontiers looks exactly like this in vanilla mode makes me extremely sad. This mod is cool don’t get me wrong but the assets and platforms are so boring, like they’re literally just metallic gray platforms with cyan/purple buttons - and that’s the whole thing!!
