KZbin algorithm threw this up ! 90% of the time it is wrong. Excellent movie,beats much of the crap Hollywood movies we find on KZbin. Portraying the junkies as victims and the Police as an ineffective controller of life, was a good move. Sheik Shahnawaz as film maker, director and script writer is beyond belief😮. Personally, employing a tight but explanatory dialogue showed class. Thank you so much to the actors too, all of them are capable of performing in multi million $ budgets. This movie was trending on Amazon Prime in Australia, so i watched it and it's actually one of the best indie films i've seen! This movie needs awards and more recognition! Cannot believe it was shot by 1 person with a budget of a few grand! Just wondering Sheikh, are you writing any more feature films because you haven't released any content on here for a while? Would really like to know how your career is going mate, as im an emerging writer myself. I would have thought this film would be a huge stepping stone in your career and you'd find bigger production companies, agents etc easier to come by now? Please do let me know!

I've written my next screenplay and currently developing the project, hoping to secure bigger actors and a bigger budget but it's a very slow process at this level with many moving pieces needing to come together first. The film was a huge stepping stone in terms of learning the craft of telling a feature length story for the screen but it hasn't helped all that much with getting the next film off the ground in terms of securing financing, an agent, etc. At the higher levels, filmmaking is all about who you know, who has money and how to get it so this film has been a good conversation starter with these sorts of people.

This is such a great movie. And I don't say that given the paltry budget. This was crafted by a filmmaker on his way to becoming a master at story telling. The framing of the shots is so professional; not like someone who is entering the craft. and the actors performances suggests this filmmaker has the gift of Directing. This is someone who has studied the art extensively. Someone who is passionate about story telling using this visual medium. Bravo Sheikh. You are going to go places and I will definitely follow your journey!

As per your request in your reply to another comment I gave a 9/10 on the Imbd site. The only reason it was a 9 was because I reserve 10 for movies like Bergman's Seventh Seal. This movie is a product of a talent to be reckoned with. It does demand a bit more from the viewer, but it justifies the attention. Kudos.

Can you make a couple of behind the scenes videos? How does the a one-man directed film work? And WHY could you not assemble a team in your home town/community that would work with you? Filmmaking is meant to be a collaborative medium. Even of you had less than $5,000 the sheer passion that can be generated through filmmaking can attract friends and family to help out.

It was a junkie story with depth.Cooks was a junkie who was not a bad guy. He was a simpleton who got into a monster habit. Sometimes circumstances are badasses. Daniel the cop too had a conscience. Yeah, life can be a bitch.

Why this movie is really excellent is one , it is really, really well crafted , and two , it is seen from a different perspective . It is true that addicts are really the victims and 90 % of them knowing how destructive it is and say if they go back to that moment they would refuse . What they or the general population doesn't understand is that once an addict it is hard to give up , even going back in time because an addict will only remember the euphoria , not the suffering . The only way is to get rid of all addictive drugs , even the ones medically approved . In this less than perfect world there will always be those unscrupulous enough to make money from the suffering of others . Whenever there is a huge demand there will always be an ample supply of cheap and toxic drugs .
