A lot of poker skill (especially on micros) is about the mindset. Make sure to have proper BRM, play with clearn mind and intentions. Everytime try to focus and improve 1 thing and be critical of your game and analyze it before/after. You can check BTS Lab to get you started by watching some theoretic videos, gameplay videos and ask any question to poker community in there. If you're interested in more advices contact us via any social media or send an email which you can find at our site, gl on tables!

Why do you like a low bet size RFI from BU, I have been playing on the PokerSnowie AI app, and it uses 3.5x. The reasoning is a high rake, and that we are in a position so we can play big pots without a problem.

At 1:00:47 I think it’s 50/50 a call or fold, and it’s because we hold the queen. That blocks his KQ suited 3 bet that is very likely to happen in the small blind cause he is incentivized to take initiative. The only hand I can think he has is King 10 suited, but I don’t think someone with that hand would take the initiative like that, unless he’s a good player which you don’t usually see at these stakes. I think he’s a lot more likely to be on a set. But then again I’m surprised someone would overbet that much when there is a flush draw.

Great content!! I dont have a bankroll for nl50, and nl10/25 has antes right now, the strategy changes a lot right? I used to play 3bet or fold from every position (except bigblind) without antes. Did i have to change this and have a calling range preflop with antes? From HighJack to Button?
@BluffTheSpot4 жыл бұрын
antes as well as blinds incentivize you to play more hands. Playing more hands means paying more rake so yes you should take that in account and play a bit more hands preflop, not too much though. Still wouldn't start calling from HiJack without a good reason like a fish after you who you don't want to fold etc. Fold/raising still has more value on microstakes due to rake being insanely high :) Thank you for your support!

22:25 what's the point of opening A10's from the CO if we plan to fold to a 3bet? and your advice is to 4bet a tight player with A10's? and what if he shoves on us? I think this was bad advice the only right play here is to call or if you are not going to call a 3bet just don't open this hand preflop and play like a nit lol

Question Hi...Where can we look up for the set up of the HUD in this video?
@soren89944 жыл бұрын
Hi! You said only 3bet to 2.5x the open? I use a min of 3x IP isn't it better to go on the larger side? What size would u recommend for OOP?
@BluffTheSpot4 жыл бұрын
OOP you want to go higher to generate more fold EQ. IP though you can get away with smaller sizes. Smaller size has an advantage that over bigger sample you will pay significantly less rake. Hope you like the video!

Interesting stuff even though I dont play holdem cash. I often wonder why sites dont use time/hand dealt based rake where it didnt matter if you play hand or not. Would create lot more action which I would think recreational would like playing experience wise. Though they would end up losing more money overall.

Okay so I have a very long question but I feel that I need to provide a lot of context in order to get a proper answer from you all. I am relatively new to poker and have recently became a pokercoahing premium member. I have a full time job and love it so I do not plan to leave it anytime soon. Basically, my main goal in poker is to get good enough to where If I had too I could live comfortably off my poker winnings. Again that is not my plan but that is the bare minimum of how good I would like to become. I mainly play online now at 10NL. I have no interest in sitting on my computer and grinding out the micros to make money. My goal online is not to make money but to practice, put volume in, and get better so when it comes to live poker where the real money is at I will be a much better player. I eventually would like to be playing 2/5 and 5/10 live or even higher if possible and be able to win with a solid win rate. I will grind the micros as long as possible for the soul purpose of getting better. So my question is should I play zoom poker or regular table poker as I climb the micros online. I realize that zoom poker is much harder and there is less of an edge but I am not playing 10NL, 25NL etc. to make money I am simply playing to get better. I am leaning towards zoom poker because if I could play about 2-4 tables of zoom I would be able to put a significant amount of volume in a short period of time which would allow me to prioritize studying. I want to prioritize studying because like I said I have a full time job and cannot play all day everyday.

Not sure yellow marker means they are fish. On Stars, when you write any note, the mark becomes yellow. So it could just mean hero has notes on villains, not that he thinks they are all fish.

@@MarkoMarkus Are you saying that the Preflop Bible ranges include both GTO opening ranges and then a different set of preflop ranges that take rake into account?
@MarkoMarkus4 жыл бұрын
@@Mbaha10 as far as I saw in Preflop Bible Lite, ranges are made with rake taken into account. That's why it's good because GTo ranges can be found in any solver outputs which are not really usable in realistic world vs people on micros.
