Hey Arthus, At 14:00 you 3b 88 against a tight co-opener and buttoncaller. Do you never call with 88 their in that situation? Becausse the co-opener is quit nitty wouldn't it be a waste to 3bet your eights and you maybe have to 4b fold while calling and hit your set would make more money?
@andrewfraancis4 жыл бұрын
Not condoning 18/16 players but I think you miss the point of why a lot of regs play kinda tight at 50z. People don’t fold to 3bets much, people call IP too often in general and you end up paying more rake than you need to. Also you don’t have any real rakeback and the rake is kinda high. It just feels like you’re used to playing on Party (which is fine) and disregarding the differences between the two pools 👍🏼 Not every exploit involves being more aggressive.

Probably to do with the guy having only 50 big blinds and opening 3x. This significantly reduces the implied odds of playing a hand like 77 as a set mine. Becomes much less valuable to play as a flat oop when almost every single flop contains multiple overcards. 3betting is probably not the worst but you essentially allow him an easy choice of folding or going all in for 50 bigs and even a poor player will play this spot relatively well IP managing to obviously go all in with 88+ and maybe say AQ+. It does seem a bit tight but oop Vs 50bb stack maybe it's correct. I'm not 100% just guessing the above reasons!

@haugi3574 жыл бұрын
You wanna go smaller in earlier positions bc youre most likely to play a pot OOP if thats you mean
@BluffTheSpot4 жыл бұрын
You want to go smaller EP to keep the pot smaller since you're going to be OOP and you pay less rake. You want to size up on later positions since you have a wider range to not give your opponents in blinds too good odds + you want to size up with your value hands whenever you're against a recreational player

It would be nice to see the times you have zero equity and zero blockers and you get called after overbetting the river. Why not a session without editing and cuts? People is not gonna fold so easy as you try to make it look.
@BluffTheSpot4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this comment, it's actually a great point people might be wondering. Session is edited that's true but not because of the reason you mentioned. It has cuts only on very few spots where there was no action pre-flop. No cut part is more than 10-15 seconds long and it's simply to keep video more entertaining for you guys so you don't have to watch all the empty folding that has 0 educational value. This way you get the same amount of educative action and you can use the rest of your time to study more and put your knowledge into action. Hope this clarified your doubts and will keep your critics in our minds for future, good luck on tables!

The correct adjustment to somebody having check-fold on in the BB is starting to limp in the SB, since if he has check fold on he will check instantly with his trash hands thus giving you information. Raising 2.5x or 2x doesn't necessarily give any EV (if he only has check-fold on for 72o) and can even lose EV since Postflop it's harder to play.
@HasNoName694 жыл бұрын
This is very stupid adjustment where rake is 6-8bb/100. After your limp first u need to beat this rake then beat your villain. Just raise preflop. EOT
@christiansdrmamacita4594 жыл бұрын
ya due to rake limping sb in cash game is a no no
