Rick -- what type of performance do you get? flight modeling can sometimes be something to be desired , the citation II had some questionable textures inside...perhaps this is unique to caranado?

Based on your video as well as onr by FSElite I purchased this bird today. Haven't flown it yet but I am impressed wiith the overall quality. Thanks for your excellent review. You might want to try the Carenado Embraer Phenom 100. Until now it is my favorite business jet. The Beech Premier might actually take over first place in my stable.

Hi, great review and flight, one query, why the autopilot 2D pop up screen appears every time you touch the switches? the 3D autopilot vc gauge do not allow you to engage the aproach mode? and.. what about performance, similar to the FF A320?

Really like your videos and rely on them for for tutorials on aircraft. What version of X plane 11 did you use? I have recently purchased this aircraft (v1.2) and it is totally unusable on my version of X Plane (11.41r1). Nothing works absolutely nothing. Very disappointing. Thanks.

Curious how it compares to the Carenado Challenger 300. Wich is the only private jet I own. Dont fly it much but love the thing. Funny side note, one of these things buzzed me and landed at our local airport yesterday and is still there. So I was thinking about them lol.

I have the FSX version of this, and yours is obviously better in every single way. THE X Plane version is very impressive! FSX version has FMS and Autopilot problems galore.I have FSX Steam version, so I don't know how much of the problems are Carenado related, and how much of it is Steam related, or if it is all just plain FSX related.

This was a good review video to watch (I just happened to come across it when watching other xplane videos) I like this jet, I've always been a fan of Carenado and their visual models but the default fmc is really starting to get to me as it really let's their aircraft down in my opinion

Thanks for the video! I learned some new things about it. I got it a week ago and I love it. It just flies so smooth! I would rate it a 5/5 Btw. you forgot to use lift dump when landing. Since the aircraft doesn't have reversers it has lift dump. Without lift dump your landing distance increases by 53 %.

Yea its pretty smooth. At the end of the video i mentioned i forgot to use it. I need yo map a key for it. But thanks didnt know it increased stopping distance.

Very nice video, thank you for that! My opinion is the same than always with Carenado: very beautiful model, but weak systems. I would like ONLY ONE single business jet with proper working avionics. I would love to pay 150 euro for that, if everything works like in the real aircraft! And the sound here, especially the outside sound, is terrible unrealistic. I think I will stay with P3D, I like this more.

Thank you. And yea you are right. But thats what we expect from carenado. Eye candy and simple systems. Was honestly surprised by the sound quality cause the previous citation and saab sounded great..
