Thank you so much for your little “love letter”;-) I feel very humbled! I just do my music & playing feeling very happy when it resonates with people. I don’t care how famous I am as long as I can do my thing… For me it’s about those magic moments that I can create-preferably on stage that I can share with the band and the audience. Answering a few of your questions: neck shape on 61’s is round like a D. That V shape you find with 50’s necks especially on 56/57 maple necks. The pickups in 61 Strats are “black bottoms” Fender changed to “grey bottoms later (I think it was mid 64)…

The Amp 1 Mercury sounds great with PAF style humbuckers but it’s really super special with a strat with vintage style pups.

Mercury loves „classic“ pickups that are not too hot… of corse there’s the lo gain Mode for those who want that classic/vintage Tones with their hi output guitars… for all the other stuff iridium is the choice in my opinion… greetings 🖖 Thomas

I wish I had an amp 1 god I never heard tone so pure ! I don't understand how it's so smooth and flowing tone and warm!!! Your amp is jaw dropping I'm trying to convince everyone I know about it they can't believe it! I predict you are going to be so big soon ... Hi Thomas, is it possible to have a dummy coil in a HSS strat. How would it be wired so it affects only the single coil pickups?

That’s a bit tricky, but I think it’s possible. I use the second layer on the five way switch on the Strat to bypass the dummy coil. With this in mind you will find a solution. Happy experimenting!!!!

I did clean my guitar in the past, but since I was giging so regularly and being so busy it became dirty and dirtier… I got used to that look-actually liking it… So occasionally I clean it , but just a bit, so it keeps that dirt level not getting much dirtier…;-)

I heard Hendrix liked cheaper cables and noisy pickups didn't mind cheap stuff because he felt it sounded great and helped with feedback and experimental tones especially in the studio lipstick pickups and everything

The 64 sounds beautiful also! All your guitars have a very similar tone I can't tell maybe a very mild difference you're right the 61 does have a extra glassy twang but they're all in the same ball park

Jesus Christ every guitar you played was fantastic Thomas!!! The vintage Hendrix /Blug model Monterey I'm going to buy one ! How much is your Master built bluguitar?? The one based on your 61?? Also you have a plain white vintage brand Blug model also don't you? And then the Monterey strat ? How are the necks on the vintage brand guitars compared to your actual fenders?
