this sounds like a cliche but Blur is the soundtrack of our lives for us who were born in the 70s, we've gone through adulthood hand in hand, and what's more for us expats they just epitomise being English

@@stitchgrimly6167 Albarn is taking about people looking at their phones instead of giving their attention the act on stage performing. I don’t know if you’ve been to a gig, but when people film gigs on their phones they are never looking at the performers, they are looking at their phone screen to make sure they’re filming it correctly.

it's not going to be eight years again, don't think so. That happened because of the pandemic and Damon's marital problems. I saw the documentary, as a band they're in a very good place.

Modern life is rubbish is the best album by far, leisure is second best, the rest just have a few great songs each. Fame took away their clean and meaningful sound, only to reappear in the midst of their drunken haze rarely.
