BLUSH

Күн бұрын

Sisters Radhika and Nandini hope to surprise their mother Snehal on Mother's Day but it's them who end up being pleasantly surprised. Snehal helps them wrap their minds around the fact that a woman's sexuality is not solely defined by her motherhood.

What makes your relationship with your mother unique?
@vanissabahadoor942
@vanissabahadoor942 5 жыл бұрын
'Our friendship❤️ made us unique', on my 16th birthday, my mom told me that we are friends and there must be no secrets between us.. From that time till now (will be soon 33), there's no banner between us. I can share anything without hesitation or fear. Turning our relationship into friendship, she brought us more closer. She is my super woman.

If you feel unloved by your mom, you are *much* less alone than our society would have you think you are. In fact, feeling unloved by one’s mother is VERY common. I really cannot emphasize this enough. “Stephi, if it’s so common, why don’t I hear about it more often?” One word: TABOO In our society, it is a taboo of truly enormous proportions to speak openly and honestly about the ways in which we feel unloved, shamed, abandoned, unprotected, assaulted, ignored, and otherwise harmed by our mothers. Why? Two words: MOTHER MYTH The mother myth is a false narrative that runs universally throughout our patriarchal society that asserts that all mothers love their children, that all mothers are doing their best, and that all mothers are owed for their efforts by their children. Gah!! 🥴 Sadly, this mother myth is exactly what keeps so many people suffering in silence about the pain they have experienced with their mothers. Perhaps you can relate. I know that for me, I tried for YEARS to convince myself that my mom loved me because “All moms love their kids,” and that she “meant well” when she did things that I experienced as harmful to me. When I did dare to speak with a friend, I was met with, “All moms are doing their best, Stephi! You sound pretty judgement of your mom after all she did for you, don’t you think?” Would my friend have responded this way if I had shared that I felt this way about my husband? I don’t think so. So what can we do about this mother myth that keeps so many suffering in silence about the pain they experienced with their mothers? A couple of things: 1) OWN your own pain with your mother - When we own our pain, we create safety for others to do the same, both within our circles and in our broader society. 2) SHARE my content and that of others you come across that speaks honestly about mother-adult child relationships - If you feel more comfortable, you can caption your shares with something along these lines: “Sharing for anyone who needs to see this right now.” 3) TELL your own story of pain with your mother - When and where you feel comfortable (this does not need to happen on social media) share about what happened to you with your mother, how that impacted you, how you feel about it, how you have worked to heal from it, etc. To learn more about the mother myth, check my highlights, 💗 Stephi

I am also one of those who had been mistreated by real mother She has destroyed my life. This deprivation that I was not blessed with a caring and loving mother is continuously killing me and believe me now am forced to live with her as I have no other choice right now my marriage has failed and I blame her for my disrurbed life. In fact I hate her. Let me confess it that when ever I face a problem in life I think its because of her that my personality has not grown up in a positive way. Why I was cursed by such a cruel and careless woman.
@mnmnmn0097
@mnmnmn0097 5 жыл бұрын
@@Chota_abdullah2021 Asma...... The life of a woman is sensible. And the heart and mind of a woman is more sensible. In addition to this, God is bad that he created less ways to woman to get a mentally healthy life. The mental health of a woman depends on her parenting first, relatives, teachers, society etc. Everything influence her heart and mind. Some woman who can't resist the torture turns into irresponsible, depressed, suppressed, fused minds etc. On the other hand, some women really brought up nice with all facilities. They turn to arrogant, head weight, particular about other women. They don't hold a concern about tiring situations of other women bcz they are brought up with all facilities. So only a few left with right attitude and right concern. Finally, what is obvious is women are bad humans. So basically they face all these re. Women don't respect women. Women don't concern women. And beg men to respect. What a tyranny yaar. Many commentors here are talking about women, who knows which woman here is a problematic mother i n law, or messy sister, bad house wife or at least supporter of bad son or dad or brother or grandson?!

This is a really good video to break stereotypes but unfortunately my relationship with my mum is not like this HAHAHA these topics, having crushes, boyfriend or any other sexual related topics are taboo 😂 hopefully it will change in the future for me and my mum but at the moment, this doesn’t happen for me. But still, a great video

Preeti Dash the way I did it was by being overly candid about it and kind of getting her used to these topics over time. We still don’t talk openly about things like sex but at least now she laughs and calls me crazy when I say I want to go to a nude beach instead of not talking to me for a week. I think it’s also about accepting that it’s difficult for them to change and all we can do is be there for our own daughters one day :)

The delivery on part of the Mother was important indeed; real, human, true, unabashed and for the purpose of explanation and reception of content, also cohesive given the setting of family, uninhibited and showcasing life as we know it. Evidently, as an engrossed viewer, it was difficult to appreciate the attitude of the unsupporting children but this only translates as good performances and brilliant showcase of the writing. Keep up the good work.
