I don't know her of course, but I interpreted her comment as "My mother did not give me the support I needed when I made a mistake and that hurt me." Of course parents can inform and give advise! The crux of the story is : "Adulthood comes with responsibilities - towards oneself, family, society etc". Very conveniently we have forgotten that bit and complaining on the "narrow minded" approach of our parents. Was this a happy passion for the girl anyway? One word "AMAZING" it reminded me a friend who got a bad news that her father had a strock and he passed away while we were all together in the car, somewhere in the middle of the desert, she had so much of composure, nobody of us knew what was happening in her mind while we were wheeling in the car to explore the beauty of dry, yet beautiful Katch, she got down from the car, hitchhike to the sojourn where we were living temporarily and somehow managed to go to Mumbai where her father died. She carried a storm in heart and we came to know about it later. About this short film... I found the sound of a washing machine very interesting and when the mother keeps her hand on her daughter's shoulder, the rotating noise of the machine slows down and you could only hear the tip tip sound of the water inside the machine, later she starts talking about how shocked she was, at that time the machine starts making the same noise, these little details captivated me, the actors acted so well and the climax was the highlight of the story.
