These things should be in manual mode only. Folding/unfolding it manually is actually much faster.

Great information. I am dismantling a 2011 GL 550 and I am unable to use the power seat motor to fold the seat down to remove back bolts. This ought to work slick.

Mine is a 2997 GL450 and the left rear seat can't be raised or lowered by the button. How can that be fixed?

I have a 2007 gl450 as well and there is another button for it just behind the passengers back seat. I also replaced the switch in the rear of the car and the seat started working again. But the only problem I have is the drivers side third row seat won't lock when it goes down.

2017 gls450 my left side 2nd row is now stuck in the uprite position it won't recline or fold down. This is the second time this has happend. The 1st time it happend it was still under factory warranty it cost 5k to fix. This is a major design flaw in the gls class. Mercedes needs to address this I'm suprised there hasn't been a recall.

I have the same problem I have GLS 2020 model and the third row which is stuck in upper position. When you press the button trying to folded it down. It’s clicking you can hear that but nothing happening and also the arrow coming up on the dash all the time. Third row is not locked.
