My first epic cover song from a videogame that define my childhood: Spider-Man of 2000.
I have nightmares with the final level, running from Monster Ock and listen great music all the game. So I decided to pay the best tribute to the game and the original artist Tommy Tallarico.
I spent more than 39 hours to get the sounds that will make you excited when listening.
Also, finally I buy mi own electric guitar to include in this song, and for my luck, I get an electric bass, that you can hear in the mix.

As a kid, I was of course scared by this abomination, but I also thought at the time that this final "boss" was stupid. You don't fight him, he could kill you instantly if he reaches you, and he/it was barely even coherent. But now it makes perfect sense to me. You couldn't hope to fight a creature like this. Carnage was enough of a challenge in his usual form. With Ock? No chance now. The mastermind symbiote, as it were, is pissed beyond comparison because A: Spider-Man killed most if not all of its spawn. B: Cletus Kasady, its preferred host, is dead. In light of those circumstances it makes perfect sense that Red wants nothing more than to tear Spidey apart limb from limb, even if it means possibly being destroyed in the facility as well. Rage was the driving force in the end, and the soundtrack captured that mood perfectly. I was always disappointed that the heavy compression made it difficult to fully appreciate that, but you have done a terrific job of recreating it in both a unique and faithful manner. I hope you will eventually give the same treatment to other tracks from this game. Regardless, thank you for this.

Im 2 years late but i have to remind you that this Game has a Game boy versión and there Spiderman actually fights Monster ock and wins easily, but It was more impressive becuse he even defeated carnage whitout the sonic bubble.

Let me just say this: Doc Ock, by himself? Is strong enough to lift over 8 - 25 tons with ONE tentacle. That means a full set can lift over 32 - 100 TONS, regularly. Not only that, but Carnage, BY HIMSELF, can lift over 80 tons. That means, by a MINIMUM AMOUNT, an enraged Monster Ock could strike with over *90 TONS OF FUCKING FORCE.* Imagine being torn apart by viscous and inhuman mechanical arms designed for actual construction, buffed by the power of a pissed off alien parasite who wants nothing more than to SLAUGHTER AND MANGLE YOU. 360 TONS OF FORCE INTO ALL 4 OF THOSE SYMBIOTE-BUFFED ARMS. Combine that with Doc Ock’s intellect and battle IQ, the power of a shape shifting symbiote, and the lunacy, rage, and murderous intent of Carnage. _YOU ARE GOING TO DIE. AND THAT’S _*_FINAL._*

You are forgetting the fact that symbiotes only upgrade the organic host, though. Since the tentacles are machinery, they wouldn't exactly get a boost in strength, only Ock's body himself. So now he would actually have EIGHT deadly limbs as the name would usually imply, plus EVEN MORE TENDRILS due to his symbiote body. And while the arms wouldn't get any stronger, their neural connection to Ock would likely make them faster, thanks to the symbiote's heightened reflexes.

Hey there, I have to be honest now. Though I have looked for this track I have had no luck finding it on Spotify or anywhere else. So for a year, I am listening to the KZbin to MP3 version I got on my SD. Please please please publish this on Spotify. For the love of all the true believers out there. I really hope the KZbin algorithm will favor this one day soon. It deserves recognition. And if Neversoft makes a remake, I pray that they do not commit the sin of not using this track. I really want to see Monster Ock show up in a film, perhaps in the possible sequel to No Way Home, even if only in the post credits scene of the sequel. Imagine a post-credits scene of Alfred Molina's Doc Ock gaining Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady's Carnage Symbiote and it bonding to him, followed by the screen fading to black and we only hear Monster Ock's roar and a nightmare-inducing scream of "DIIIIIEEEE!!!". That would REALLY set up the next sequel in a good way!
