I added a comment 11 years ago about Elvin playing Juke Joint Jump and how this song was written about the Shaboo Inn that was located near Willimantic, CT. I remember seeing Elvin play at Shaboo and it was electrifying! People were swinging from the pipes in the ceiling and the place was really rocking. Saw alot of shows there in the mid 70's to around 1982. Best live music bar ever. Hands down. Ask anyone who was lucky enough to spend a few nights there. Thanks for the memories!

Rocked out the Asheville Civic Center in 1975 opening for Rod Stewart. Back then were the days,No Autotune,No Rap, No undressing on stage,Just kick ass boogie and bluesy rock and roll. Young artists could learn much from masters like Elvin Bishop...real music !

One of the greatest of guitarists. This is one guy I wish would live forever! Of course, that would mean myself too so that I could keep up with him like I have since the mid-sixties!

I saw Elvin at an outdoor CSNY concert in Norfolk, Virginia in about 1974 . I saw him years later at Rogues' Gallery in Va. Beach. It was a real treat both times.
