I have loved this man's talent for almost fifty years, and revere him as one of the world's best living blues guitar pioneers. I actually even like his voice. It is never a good idea, in many opinions, for an entertainer at his level of influence to wax philosophic, politially speaking. However, considering the gross indiscretions and criminal actions of the unnamed "former president" Elvin is refering to, he can be forgiven for speaking out. This president traumatized not only a great nation, but most of the free world, while all the bad guys loved him. All that aside, what is clear in this video is the fact that Mr. Bishop hasn't lost a thing to age.

Weather you remember me much at all we have, a few times through certain circles of friends a family, so we've been on the same page of this when it wasn't even an issue. What's changed is it's that collecivst memories of the incredible sacrifice sacrifice we made as a united people to defeat the greatest threat to humanity as that time. That was still a very important element in our life's growing up even after for decades after WW2. Now those memories have faded down to a trickle and Reality TV and fox news are reshaping hatred and fear once again, because that's what gets the ratings. ☮️&💙👍
