watching how blythe has grown over the years makes me feel so warm. the woman and poet she’s grown into from like 4-5 years ago is so apparent and beautiful.

I always like to watch "the way I was thought to love" and then watch "taking my mother to a gay bar". Eventough I believe there are still days she struggles with it, the second piece of art just chose how she managed to get a bit of peace for herself and accept the situation and herself and grow so much stronger♥

It does get easier, you stop saying sorry as its rolling off ur tongue like you stop the tears rolling down your cheek when someone asks if you're okay, and one day you look up and you're okay

I still say sorry almost every 3 sentences because I feel like everything is my fault and that I’ve done something wrong.

My childhood. I was a daddy’s girl so I was always cautious around my mother. I remember she would get mad that if was always saying sorry yet she was the only person I did that with. Even at 25 I still think about that period of time and how I would react towards her vs other people.

i always frustrated myself with how to phrase that i no longer wanted to kill myself without sounding like i was no longer struggling and “one day the urge to write a poem became stronger than the urge to write a suicide note” is probably the most precise fashion of all considering the only objective THING that saved me was writing. thanks as always blythe

The beginning of this poem is everything my therapist told me. That hit real see for me. She told me how resilient I was. She told me is was amazing that I never stopped fighting. She told me to not feel guilty when I didn’t get done what I wanted but rather being grateful for what I could even if it was just a shower. I feel like you took my emotions and put them in words.
