Honestly I relate to Ashley on that,,,, I got bullied in school for being shy and introverted af too like once this girl literally pushed me to the ground on purpose and everyone in class just laughed at me and I still did not say anything because I was so scared that they would hurt me lol PLUS I thought I deserved it for not fitting in anyway lol
@kat_g563 жыл бұрын
For me, I have been bullied. But, it was because I was too nice so people took advantage of me and then it would snowball effect into something toxic. I appear very extroverted, but I'm definitely more of an introvert at heart. I used to also get pushed or once I had snow shoved down my shirt and pants. But from being bullied for years I learned how to be a stronger and more passionate person, because I realized how pointless material things, like the: # of likes on social media or the # of friends you have really is. My MATO is: To live a happy life you only need a few best friends, be proud of who you are, don't compare yourself to other, admit your flaws, and most importantly no matter what anyone says, being yourself is more important than trying to be someone you are not just to fit in with the "popular" crowd.

As a teacher myself, I would never tolerate any kind of bullying because I experienced being bullied when I was younger because of how I looked and even when I fought back, It still made me feel crap about myself to have the need to defend myself for being me. Thank God, I had an older brother and I remember teachers who confronted those bullies. So I feel ashamed for others teachers, who will not address the issue and thinks that those are normal for kids and that they will outgrow it. The victim needs comfort and help. The bullies also need help and guidance because most of the times, they are victims also (bad parenting, broken family, abuse, bad enviroment etc.)

I walked home from school every day with another girl in elementary school. In 2nd grade there was a boy who was a year younger but much bigger than us that suddenly started walking the same way we did and he would follow us all the way home and be mean and swing his backpack at us. At a busy corner while we waited to cross the street he swung his backpack at us and we almost fell into the road. My mom saw him following us one day and she ask who it was and I said I didn't know. It was like she just knew, I think she would watch for us every day to turn the corner down my street so she must have been watching what he was doing, but she yelled at him so bad. It must have scared him real bad because he never followed us again throughout all of elementary school. What you do when you know your friend do bullying?
@missright91763 жыл бұрын
Before teachers get all of the blame, people have to realize. We cannot say ANYTHING to a person's child that would hurt their feelings. Most parents would demand to know what you did or what the other child did before they even entertain that their child just might be the worst. We can't rely on parents to even discipline and instill values in their child, so I have to do it in my room. I don't ask my parents for help and just deal with it myself. The jerks in our ranks do not get to have a good time and know not to ask me for anything until they check their attitude. My expectations are made clear on what that entails, and they fix it. Now you can act like little terrors when you're at home and if Mom and Dad tolerate that, but not in my domain. Now, with that, I also try to promote peer-to-peer facilitation when the kid's at our odds with each other. Yes, I can always come in and save, but I or another teacher is not always going to be there. When you're an adult, there's no teacher to tattle to if someone's being "mean" or bothering you. This may sound harsh, but we do have to learn how to handle it. Coping is a serious skill we are lacking in many societies. I have not forgotten what it is like to be bullied and made fun of. But my bullies learned quick that they weren't going to get a rise out of me, so they eventually moved on. I was taught that I am stronger than the situation, and I decide how I let it affect me. More children need to be equipped with this knowledge, and I'm sure even bullying can come to an end.

Ok sorry if I am standing on a soap box, but I wanted to address something that has been bothering me, especially in these past 2 years that has to do will bullying accusations. Let me start by saying that I have Personally gotten bullied a lot throughout all my years in school, but what absolutely is pissing me off is that these idols are constantly getting assessed by people that they are bullying them. As a person who has been bullied, I don't like it but I feel no one after so many years should still have their entire career jeopardized just because they were a bully when in high school or younger. Also, like only if you are famous does your career actually get impacted if you were a "bully", because otherwise you are no important in society. Like if I were to call out all those that have bullied me, those people would not even be affected since they are not "celebrities or famous". Also like honestly playing the victim card is a low blow. I've been bullied by so many people, but what made me stronger is that I did not let those bad school experiences impact my future. I think it's pathetic how people are accusing idols that were at one time a bully, just because they are famous and probably are trying to get some money from it. If you ask me, by accusing anyone after years of a time when you were bullied then that personally makes you a bully and very shallow.

I kinda agree, especially if that person CHANGED and they no longer do the things they used to when they’re TEENAGERS.

I do agree with you but it depends for example if it's sever that the victim is still mentally unstable not able to work his/her life then yaaah call them out but if it's the normal bollying about Shap etc.. people should move on because the celebrity might admit suicide or get severely affected I've also been in situation that hurts me but I moved on and it's years ago. Unless it's not sever and your life is not damaged and you moved on let people live and become better people

@@esramokzangi1594 I agree, also I am speaking from my own experiences and now looking back although this may sound strange, but I'm actually happy I got bullied. Not because it was fun, but it made me into a stronger person and also I was able to see how unimportant so many material things are that people my age still hold onto as their "identity"

@@et9418 Yah also like by retaliating years later only to completely destroy the persons career, only makes you look worse. Also, like if I still wasn't over someone who bullied me and found out they were famous. I wouldn't rat it out to the world I would keep it on the DL. By making it public it makes it sound like you are only doing it to draw more attention to something that was originally only between you and a person.

My experience with bullying at school is older student bullying younger students for fun. 😞 When it came to ppl on the same age it was the popular kids who looked down on the other kids. GUYS it's not ok to bully. Being weak or too nice isn't a reason to attack someone Dx In my case, my bullies were my "friend" and by the time I went to jr high I left them all. Being friendless isn't that scary 🤣

Teacher you wack! It's so sad when you are a kid and you think you can turn to the adult who is supposedly wiser but all they do is disappoint you. Maybe these folks should UNDERSTAND their behavior can have lasting impact on people. I wish the world was a kinder place 😢
