hello, very good video thanks for being so explanatory. The truth of the things that here in Chile I have already seen 3 transit 2018 with the same problem and the same code. The strange thing about all this is that the vehicle out of nowhere is left with the fault and is blocked, in some cases the lights intermittently, in other cases it is only enough to turn it off, take out the key and at the time of starting it no longer started. well greetings from patagonia chile PS: all that remains is to change the BSM module, there was no other way to repair it and it seems to be a failure of that model

I know this vid.is old.i have a 2020 transit 350 hd 3.5 turbo only 70k miles. Power steering module code u30004949 elctr failure u3000610b signal calc fail. and u20164748 watchdog safety fail. Also my rear brakes locked up. Now the fronts locked up after i fixd rears, pads wernt on correctly. But i think abs dump valves r actimg up. Idk. Whats your opinion on.this. i wish u coupd do a video on transit abs problems

I’m confused so the door harness was the real issue?? Not the bcm?

Door harness destroyed the bcm

Unplugging the door harness did not fix it. The bcm gets into a locked mode and must be replaced.. truly a poor design.
