Hi, I also ordered and ICS2 stem for my teammachine slr. But it doesn't come with the top cap you used in the video. Did you cut the top cap? I believe that the original top cap is for the fully internal SLR01 frame. Hoping for your response!

That's right! You have to cut the top cap. There's no problem if you cut it, so don't worry and cut it. Thank you for watching my video.

Hello, I know rear tyre clearance is only 30. Do you think a 28c tyre would fit on same wheels? I am close to purchase same bike with same wheels but I was hoping to ride 28c, however it seems that the Zipp's internal width will enlarge the 28 tyre to more than 30. What do you think? Thanks

Hello? I am using 303FC It is mounted up to 28c. It is impossible to do more than that

Hi, the wheels in the video are 404FC and not 303FC. They have 28mm outer rim width. You said that you used the Schwalbe 25C tyre, which makes sense, as the 28c would probably enlarge to 30mm or more. Now, my question is: Depending on how much this Schwalbe stretched, your setup is minimum 28mm wide, don't you think this is a bit narrow for the 30mm clearance of the BMC? I am thinking for when you ride standing uphill and maybe have some flex in the wheel? Many thanks

@@lucianlozanu4495 404fc : Rim inside width = 23mm 303fc : Rim inside width = 25mm 303FC is wider inside the rim in other words If you mount 28c on 404fc, it means it's narrower than 303fc If it's okay to plug 28c into the teammachine with 303FC It means 404fc is fine too. It's okay to plug 404fc and 28c into the team machine If I didn't understand what you said, please leave a reply Thank you.

Yes but my question was different: in your setup with the 404 FC, don't you think there is any chance of wheel rubbing the frame at the rear when wheel flexes in some situations? I am thinking of buying the same wheels for same bike but I am worried of not being too wide for the frame's 30mm clearance. Thanks

@@lucianlozanu4495 That's right. It's not without the possibility of rubbing. However, there is no problem with the teammachine equipped with the 303FC yet. I agree that the gap is very tight. If the wheel is deformed by the impact, there is a high possibility that it will rub.

영상 잘 보고있습니다! 궁금한점이 있습니다. SLR프레임에 ICS2 스템을 장착하기 위해 어떤 탑콘을 사용하셨나요? TOPCONE SET SLR01 BLK ICS2 ICS CARBON (LOW 5mm, HIGH 30mm) 과 RETROFIT TOPCONE SET BLACK ISC2, ICS CARBON (LOW 5mm, HIGH 30mm) 등등 있더라구요.

사용가능 할 것 같긴한데 정확하게 써본게 아니라서 명확한 답변은 못드리겠네요. slr01 18~20년식이 레트로핏이고 21년식 이후 부터 그냥 탑콘이라고 호환표에는 나와 있습니다만 slr 프레임에 적용되는게 아니다 보니 해봐야 정확하게 알 수 있을듯 합니다.

Great video! Can the ISC2 stem be used with the SLR Frame without any adjustements? Or did you modify some of the parts?

Part of the stem cap was cut and used. ICS2 stem Cap has wings to fit the fork, which I cut and used. Thank you for watching

@@lukas4511 You must cut the top cap. The fork steerer has a different shape.

매번 영상 잘 보고 있습니다. 저는 21년식 slr one을 가지고 있는데 풀인터널이 아닌 게 계속 마음이 쓰입니다. 23년 프레임이 너무 이쁜데 혹시 지금 보여주신 저 구성에서 포크를 slr01 포크로(색상은 달라도 됨) 변경하면 풀인터널이 가능할지요? 기변을 앞두고 기함으로 가자니 너무 가격이 올랐고, 23년 slr 프레임을 사서 다시 조립을 하자니 또 외부로 드러날 선이 마음에 걸리고 그렇네요. 어디에도 나오지 않는 내용인데 BMC를 전문으로 하시는 바바리안님은 알고 계실 듯 하여 여쭈어 봅니다~^^

일단 약간의 변형을 한다면 충분히 가능하다고 보고 있습니다. 포크가 없어서 시도는 못해봤습니다. 리어 브레이크 라인 수정과 slr 01 포크만 있다면 충분히 가능하다고 봅니다만 보증은 당연히 사라지겠죠?

@@kindlybaba bikes now are heavier than they were 10 years ago thanks to disc brakes and beefed up frames to accommodate them

You're right! Got heavy using disc brakes! But rimbrake is discontinued, so you have to choice disc brake Bicycle manufacturers don't produce rimbrake frame

안녕하세요 저도 ics2 스템을 slr 프레임에 이식하려고 하는데 탑캡 돌출부위를 갈아내야 호환이 되더라구요 이 갈아내는 작업은 어떻게 하셨는지 여쭤봐도 될까요? (업체에서 하셨으면 업체 정보도 부탁드립니다)

탑캡 날개부분을 핸드 컷팅기나 쇠톱으로 잘라내시면 됩니다. 저희가 업체(?) 입니다. 저희 매장은 BMC대구 입니다. 어려운 작업은 아니니 직접 하셔도 되지만 자신 없으시면 매장에 의뢰 하시는것도 좋습니다.

전혀 문제 없습니다 다른 탑캡들 전부 그렇게 고정 되어 있는걸요? ^^ 스템에서 잡아주는 힘으로 버티고 탑캡은 상하 베어링 유격만 잡아주는 역할 입니다.

Does the ICS2 stem fit on the BMC SLR 3?

ICS2 stems can be mounted on SLR frames. cable has to be out. full internal is impossible

I built the same frameset a few months ago with Dura-Ace 11 speed DI2, Zipp 303NSW wheels, and full Zipp Carbon Cockpit. Weight 7.3KG ready to roll with pedals and Garmin. Very happy with the build and the performance. Ridiculous stiff. The intergrated bars from BMC are a good bit looser than my Zipp Cockpit, so I am happy for that.
