We are losing sight of the fact that JD5 is a rookie playing his 2nd game in a new system with a less than stellar O line, subpar receivers, and atrocious defense. Calm down and let the young man grow into himself and front office put together a decent football team to win games

The biggest takeaway for me is that a team we have had trouble beating, we beat them. Its a step in the right direction. Defensive tackling needs to be cleaned up, OL penalties in the red zone has to be cleaned up. I saw a a team growing.

Running will keep him safe behind this line as long as it's not up the middle unless he can avoid hits by linemen and backers. This offense needs 5-6 deep shots per game to really stretch the defense and the o line is struggling to give the time needed for those shots. Defenses are doubling Terry and not letting anyone get behind them currently and the RBs are eating bc of it too. Give Terry freaking slants for the love of all things holy!

St juste altough he gave up over 100 still changed the game on that fumble. We were down 12-9 with them driving on our 35 yard line. The giants had the momentum at that point up 3 points about to score again. I cant tell you how important of a impact that truly made. Im being real he did not play good at all but when we need the momentum he gave that to us

i mean lets be real sam howell drove us many times last year. this isnt to say jayden isnt already doing this, but to say no quarterback has done this in "i dont know how long" is to say sam hasn't, which he did. and he was damn good when this line wasn't letting him down.

My 5 observations about this week 2 game were: 1. how the coaches and players made adjustments at the half which you’d never saw under the last coasting staff. 2. I know a lot of fans want Kliff to open up his playbook for JD5 but as JP and BMitch explained Kliff is bringing JD5 along very well and not giving him more than he can handle. 3. Gotta clean up the penalties and learn how to tackle properly, especially the secondary. 4. Think we finally found ourselves a Kicker. 5. Gotta figure out how to get receiver’s so JD5 has the opportunity to spread the Field open and pass to more than Terry. but overall I think things are progressing in the right direction

Jayden has been really careful with the ball. I can tell he doesn't want to throw an interception. Hopefully Kliff trusts ghim to make throws to the flat and outs. The running game will open up deep shots and play action passes.

Kudos to BMitch for calling out the spearing that the refs didn’t call. I have yet to see any commentator, media member, KZbinr or commenter mention that. It’s really strange that our prized rookie quarterback got knocked out of the game on an illegal hit, and NOBODY is talking about it.

They are doubling and tripling Terry most of the game. You can be damn sure JD5 will NOT throw into double coverage unless he has to. He's not gonna do it here. He never did it at LSU nor at Arizona State. I'm so glad that Noah stepped up to take some of the heat off of Terry. Now they will be forced to account for Noah. Watch Terry start to eat more.

You say JD5 was holding the ball too long in the first half. Your assessment is wrong. It was most likely , Nobody was open on his initial reads. Don’t assume the negative with this young man. He’s quick on his reads. So the logical assumption would be , none of his receivers were open.

Check down Charlie and no td’s the pass de is trash , the pass rush is trash and the run defense looked bad the dt were getting moved all day and the linebackers were standing 7 yards off the ball and shooting the wrong gaps in the run fits. Not impressed with this win at all! The Giants are literally the worst team in the NFL & they had us tied throughout the whole game until the end! Even with the limited talent we have , we can’t scheme up ways to get Terry the ball, screens & etc❓ You mean to tell me their paying players pro money & we literally can’t score a TD at all. To be happy about beating the worst team in the league isn’t something. We’re still terrible on both sides of the ball. I’m just glad JD’s not taking hits like Caleb Williams ! Caleb’s gonna get killed by the end of the season. We need to accumulate top tier young talent via the draft & free agency. Identify the best talent & bring them in.
