great vid man. I absolutely love the p4k sensor. Ive got the 6k pro and often times wish i would have got a boosted p4k because the image has something very special about it. Ive been debating the red komodo for some time now but i think BM has something special up their sleeves this year with L mount rumors that i want to wait for as the 6k pro suits just fine for now! as usual, your work is fantastic and keep it up! cheers

Cheers! Absolutely, I’m always still a bit unsure as to whether to go for my boosted P4K over the 6K Pro. I think the Komodo-X looks awesome but excited to see what BM brings next now they’ve had time to watch the competition!

Thanks for your video, nice work. Been using it for 2 years. 6K Pro battery situation is a shocker... vary random behaviour, even the larger NPF970 with Lemo connector. If they get auto focus/face tracking in the next version that would be a game changer. The latest firmware does not work on my Tokina 11-18mm, no focus or iris control. I love my 6K Pro and actually forgive all the cons about this camera only because everything else is soo good. Black Magic please send me the next generation to review!

Cheers! Yeah I’ve always found the battery on these cameras a little odd, it’s the one thing that should be improved on, an ability to hotswap and hold more than one battery would be great

Took me a little while to adapt to Gen4 (P4K) but after using Gen5 for a little bit it was a no brainer. I felt Gen4 gave everything a vintage look that was hard to strip out. Gen5 is much more neutral. I love it °¬) Still loving my P4K almost 3 years in but looking to get a P6K Pro as a second cam and for when I really want the detail the P4K just can't deliver (I'm using Zeiss Milvus Superspeeds so the lenses aren't limiting me at all)...

Hey man i am a film student based in Vancouver. I am recently looking into buying the 6k for my freelance work i have worked with arri mini lf a little in my school and basically what i am nervous about is having no autofocus would u say while doing freelancing manual focus is something that is managble with one person only

Hey! Personally I’d say it’s totally manageable depending on the lenses you are using. Any photography lens you should be fine, I manually pulled focus myself with the DZO Vespids on a couple of projects recently with no issue. I’d say it just takes some practice!
