Another great video from Stevie. When I want to practice some flameouts. I just place my engine in idle and do touch and goes with idle from like 15 miles out and glide in. Then the last one I cut the engine out. The only difference is that you still have fuel so gliding is not the best.

It's so hard in the simulator (feels so different than normal landing/approach) making it seriously impressive to watch the HUD tapes of pilots doing it in RL. Pro-tip: if your nose wheel doesn't come down, you can shake it loose by impact of your rear wheels on the tarmac. Oh wait I see you already knew that.. :P

Yes, that's really impressive. Especially as you have only ONE try, and you cannot simply restart and do it again like in the simulator...
