I have a problem, I can't understand how the Emergency of switch for industrial steam system works with BMS : the customer asked to Emergency of switch To be situated adjacent the boiler room with warning horn, and is to be integrated in the boiler control system and BMS. including all necessary cabling. if you can help me, I don't understand how the emergency switch for industrial steam system works: 1- if you press the emergency switch, it will stop the boiler and it is the boiler that communicates with the BMS. 2- if the emergency switch is pressed, it will communicate with the BMS and it is the BMS which stops the boiler. 3- if you press the emergency switch, it stops the boiler and the emergency switch sends its status to the BMS. pls send me a reference of the emergency switch to buy it
@engineeringautomation3 жыл бұрын
Hi Said, i need more details like if the boiler controller can take an DI input which can be connected to the Emergency push button NC contact. When the button is pushed, it sends a contact to boiler controller to stop the system immediately. Then boiler controller can send an output signal to BMS that the boiler is stoped due to Emergency button pressed. Otherwise if the BMS already have override control of boiler control system, then emergency push button can be connected to the BMS system which will stop the Boiler. The Emergency push button comes as single NO/NC contact or 1 NO 1 NC contact which can be wired to BMS DI signal. What i understand from clients requirement is that when any abnormality is observed in the field, instead of calling the control centre, the technician can press the emergency button which will shutdown the boiler. Let me know if this helps, of if u need any more details let me know i can help. Thanks for your feedback, please subscribe, share and support us.

Hi Imran. Thanks for your feedback. BACnet and Ethernet are different. BACnet is a communication protocol and ethernet is a communication medium which operates on physical layer.. BACnet via Ethernet is also a recognised protocol by BACnet standard which uses available ethernet physical cables and MAC addressing for the physical and data link layer functions. Actually I'm working on a prototype BMS that would rely on AI to best manage comfort levels, energy saving and some other secret functions. My only worry is at the level of the sensors, how efficient can these various heat, light, flow, movement sensors be? I feel there's a need for development of rocket standard accurate sensors...
@engineeringautomation Жыл бұрын
Hi… if you use the general BMS sensors then there is some concern regarding the measurement accuracy. However you can either use industrial standard instruments which has more accuracy and robust. But it will be costlier. Another option is to use the healthcare approved sensors which are used in hospitals. Those sensors have higher accuracy and more stable. Hope this helps

Understanding is a cognitive process related to an abstract or physical object, such as a person, situation, or message whereby one is able to use concepts to model that object. Understanding is a relation between the knower and an object of understanding. Understanding implies abilities and dispositions with respect to an object of knowledge that are sufficient to support intelligent behavior.[1] Understanding is often, though not always, related to learning concepts, and sometimes also the theory or theories associated with those concepts. However, a person may have a good ability to predict the behavior of an object, animal or system-and therefore may, in some sense, understand it-without necessarily being familiar with the concepts or theories associated with that object, animal, or system in their culture. They may have developed their own distinct concepts and theories, which may be equivalent, better or worse than the recognized standard concepts and theories of their culture. Thus, understanding is correlated with the ability to make inferences.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
