BMT Broadway/4th Avenue Line: R32 R Train Ride to 95th Street (2/3/2001)

R32 R train ride (lead car: Phase I 3757) from Jamaica/Van Wyck to 95th Street via Queens Blvd, Broadway, and 4th Avenue Locals on February 3, 2001. R was extended from Jamaica Center.
During that weekend, there was no E train service. F train service was rerouted through 63rd Street connection and skipped Queens Plaza. G train service was between Court Square and Smith-9 Streets.
In order to save video tape, some conductor announcements were skipped.

Man oh man, this goes back when I would hear those loud, vibrating rumbling tracks at Sutphin & Archer and Jamaica-Van Wyck when those shiny R32's on the E line would come in to those stations....wooohh this goes back. Briarwood being pronounced Van Wyck Boulevard which I still remember? Shucks, you know this is nostalgic. Did I forget the squeal the doors on the R32's used to make when closing? Yeah, this video is definitely a time machine.

Just to think I was still a few months away from birth when this was filled yet these were the same trains I rode from birth up till my first year in college and traveling from work on these every evening, these cars had a massive lifespan and should never be forgotten

The R train originally went to Ditmars Blvd until the mid 80s when it swapped terminals with the N train for Forest Hills
