BMT Broadway/Queens Blvd Line: R32 R Train Ride to Jamaica Center (2/3/2001)

R32 R train ride (lead car: Phase II 3753) from 95th Street to Jamaica Center via 4th Avenue Local, Broadway Local and Queens Blvd Local on February 3, 2001. Due to station and track work, the R ran Express between Canal Street and 34th Street on Broadway, and between Roosevelt Avenue and Union Turnpike on Queens Blvd. R was extended to Jamaica Center.
During that weekend, there was no E train service. F train service was rerouted through 63rd Street connection and skipped Queens Plaza. G train service was between Court Square and Smith-9 Streets.

Interesting footage. I was 6 years old, in the first grade and a avid subway rider with my parents on the Queens Bvld line. An innocent, carefree time before the end of that year. Queens was my place. PS: 1:17:13 you could slightly see KORN's graffiti there on the right and at 1:20:00 REVS's pieces. RIP KORN

When I knew the E did not run that weekend, I sensed that some R32s will run on the R and I took advantage of it and recorded the R videos. Yes, it was very rare in 2001 to see so much R32s on the R.

I already recorded both directions between Jamaica Center and 95th Street, which has already covered the section between 71st Avenue and 95th Street. If you asked exactly between 71st Avenue and 95th Street, the answer is no.

@chao-hwa chen it's been a while what happend were you've been I was waiting for responed because i wanted to know do you have the cortlandt street world trade center subway station of the 1/9 trains before 09/11 attacks? 🚈🚉🚇Because i want to know and see were it used to be all that before the september 11 attacks since it's brand new cortlandt street world trade center which is now it's WTC Cortlandt subway station of the 1 train after 17 years it was destroyed when hijacked planes destroyed twin towers of the world trade center, both towers collapse and damaged subway's and path station. What I knew is that there was work along the 8 Avenue line such that the E train did not run during that weekend. R train essentially replaced the E train.

@@chaohwac, actually. The (R) Train was substituting part of the (E) train service, not replacing it. Replacement is you're replacing somebody or something even though they're gone and never came back.
